Flight Gone Bad
Hitchcoc1 April 2021
When a beautiful woman tries to leave her husband, flying to Las Vegas and freedom, she is killed after leaving the plane. During that flight, the money she had in her bag, put in an overhead by the flight attendant, was stolen. When she is found, she has suffered significant injuries, seemingly from being tossed out of a car, but an autopsy reveals she had considerable damage before she ever got on the plane. This is a clever episode, including a criminal Joel Grey and the guy who plays Coyote on Grace and Frankie. Nick is at his very best here.

Who Killed Helen Morrison?
claudio_carvalho15 December 2023
An airplane is landing in Las Vegas and a man, Kenny Greene, unsuccessfully hits on a beautiful and hot blonde. After landing, eight passengers find that personal objects in their carry-on luggage were stolen. Outside the airport, the blonde is found dead and Nick and Sara process the crime scene. Soon they find that she was thrown from a car in movement. They find also her driving lesson and identify her as Janet Riggins. The first suspect is Kenny Greene, since the surveillance video from the airport shows him running after Janet. He says that he believed she was the thief and stole her cell-phone from her luggage. Hodges finds that her driving license is fake and that she called Nalley Janitorial Service for thirteen minutes. Nick and Sara visit Jefferson Nalley, who tells them that she is Helen Morrison, who was his former classmate and contacted him six months ago. Then she contacted him last night asking for help but he refused since she was married. Meanwhile, the CSIs investigate who might be the thief and find Hank Kasserman, who had stolen US$ 30,000 from her purse. Dr. Robbins learns that Helen was abused by her husband with many broken ribs and other old fractures. Now her husband Allen Morrison becomes the next suspect and Nick interrogates him. But the question remains: who killed Helen Morrison?

"Keep Calm and Carry-On" is a good episode of "CSI". The gorgeous and sexy woman found dead outside the airport has many suspects with motive to kill her but the end is totally surprising. Nick's attitude towards Allen Morrison in the very end of the show is very funny. My vote is eight.

Sexy, Funny and Entertaining.

Warning: Spoilers
Loved this show. Sexy with great humor. Brought out the best in Nick. I actually laughed out loud at some of his lines. The show was cast perfectly from the beautiful Helen (great opening shot) to Joel Gray as the airplane thief (great dialog). Some of my favorite scenes and lines were Nicks interrogation of the kid he arrested for pointing lasers at planes, Robbin's autopsy scene, and the humorous banter between the CSI staff in general, especially Greg's goat comment. The end made me actually cheer...Nick's weekend arrest of Helen's husband Allen..so deserved! Another strong point was that the plot was easy to follow and there were enough suspects to kept me guessing. It has been fun to watch the evolving chemistry between the current CSI staff. Comfortable and enjoyable. I suspect Season 15 is around the corner.

Well-done episode
max84318 January 2014
All of the guest spots are particularly well-cast, including Jaleel White and Joel Gray. Both had me laugh out loud at times, especially Jaleel.

Although a musician, I'm not a big fan of background music, either in the movies or TV episodes. (I prefer "No Country for Old Men" and much of film noir, just natural sound.) But this original series of CSI has always had great sounds.

I wish American productions could follow the lead of Canada - not only does their government help fund many productions but the majority of music used is original, composed and performed by Canadians.

This episode uses all the regulars well and there is much more time spent directly on the case, rather than tangential events. Again, personal preference!

Mic on actor very obvious

Goof: Last scene between Stokes and dead girl's husband - you can clearly see the microphone taped on the husband's shirt.

When the husband tried to harass Doc, I really want Stokes to punch him so bad.

Blunt Force Trauma (Again)
neil_davison-354-7707415 April 2022
Is it just me or is blunt Force Trauma used far too often as cause of death? Come on CSI find something else for cause of death because as soon as David is asked it's always the answer.

My other gripe is I just wish my own camera focused as quick as any CSI Camera and when using my mobile phone it was answered literally as soon as the Button is pressed like any CSI Mobile call?

Apart from that I'm a fan but still miss the days of Catherine and Grissom but that's just me.
