Strictly for 5 year olds
malcolmgsw2 March 2022
This was made by the CFF for Saturday morning matinees. I cannot imagine any but 5 year olds finding this funny. The attempt at humour is laboured and very unimaginative.,at 17;minutes long it outstays it's welcome.

Quite charming

Warning: Spoilers
A 15 minute comedy short from the Children's Film Foundation stable and unlike anything else I've seen from them. It's notable for featuring an early lead role for the great Peter Butterworth, and here he's channelling Stan Laurel in a basic but funny seaside comedy about a man just trying to enjoy his sandwich. The comedy is rather laboured and of the slapstick variety, with a lot of trip ups and stuff being poured over people's heads, but nonetheless I found it quite charming.
