Whose been numb?

Perhaps one of the best pop punk songs of the early 2000's that sums up the feelings that every teen has faced. The music video is a perfect accompaniment to this awesome song.

A dramatic and wonderful vision of how it is to have a lonely life.

This is a strong music video, it really captures the miserable view of someone who's unpopular and does not have someone for support. Yes I know that the song "Numb" is the most recognizable song from them and I agree with every other fans that this is really their masterpiece song.

The music video shows honesty to the poor girl how miserable her life is. Yes I know it's a melodramatic song and music video but this one isn't boring to look at or even listening to. The tone of the music video might look a bit grayish but that's what makes this MV so dramatic on a personal view. And the ending is quite shocking in my opinion and it always leaves me speechless but in a quiet way.

I would recommend anyone to see this music video, it's dramatic and honest. I can't imagine any other music videos like this.

great

First, it is a great song for its precise message, familiar to many of us. Second - for a real inspired video. And for the portrait of hard effort against too high expectations, all reduced at continuous tension. A great song and admirable work.

Yes from the music standpoint, no for the film aspects

Warning: Spoilers
These 3 minutes are the music video for the fairly successful Linkin Park song "Numb" from 12 years ago. It was directed by Joseph Hahn, who made many more Linkin Park videos, and stars actress Brianna Evigan. Both managed fairly successful careers out of the music video industry since then as well. The script comes from Linkin Park as well. So all in all, the tune is catchy, the voices work nicely and it's a decent song. However, in terms of the story, I am not really convinced. It certainly would have helped if the outsider girl would not have looked like a model wearing really stylish clothes as well. And the constant camera cuts between the band and the girl were far too abrupt in my opinion, even if it somehow fit the song's speed. The editing really may have needed some work. Last but not least, the detailed situations about the girl's isolation weren't too memorable either, such as everybody walking past her on the stairs or how she randomly appears at the band's concert location at the end. The worst was maybe to include the girl's family to show us how she struggles in private life as well. The mother sure was way over the top. Not a good music video as a whole. Thumbs down.
