There's a lot going on here, with the result that some things are disappointingly glossed over:Maddy's absence means we don't get to see Spencer check up on her.The chat between Alf and Brax at the hospital is nicely underplayed and Sally and Pippa's moment on the beach is a reminder of what an asset Sally is to the show and how much poorer it'll be without her.
Chris running to Indi's rescue results in Sasha realising he's not a total waste of space, although she loses ground by being judgemental about Casey immediately afterwards.Chris lodging with Irene has great potential.
There's also the beginning of a storyline for Zac, with the introduction of Hannah.Their conversation struggles to bring the audience up to speed on who they are but it's nice to see lessons have been learned and the character's scope is being broadened.
