The scene between Hetty and Brian Huskey, her attorney, was pure gold. Writer Sophia Lear and actors Woskey and Appleton created a scene where Victorian uptightness, the ridiculous nature of privilege and wit all made for an absolutely hilarious scene played as if it were drama. In this dire situation, the use of the phone for both humor and later tragedy, was genius. Hetty's obliviousness to the unethical practice of child labor and her comments about the children "being in their prime" were gems because they were so out of touch with the world of people without wealth. But the phone number "4" still has me laughing. It opened an entire world of ideas about what the world was like when there were only a few phones. Of course, the only call had to be a wrong number. In fact, I have rewatched it several times and recounted it to my daughter, who is a screen and television writer. She also found it hilarious. It was a scene worthy of the stage. Well played. Well played.

Warning: Spoilers
The producers of this show talked about us not getting cheated by who would end up getting sucked off ahead of the season premiere, and we did get cheated if Flower never really left. Such a shame and it kills the standards and risks of the show if they never have anyone end up leaving.

But the episode was also just not really funny here. Why would a well trap the ghosts when they could seemingly go through any wall in the house? I know we can't apply logic and reason to every single storyline and concept on a series about ghosts and the afterlife, but they could at least try harder than this surely.
