Difficult missions at the turn of the war or Heroes of the invisible front: part three
lyubitelfilmov25 November 2021
Military adventures. The final part (according to the real chronology) of the serial trilogy "Military Intelligence", telling about the group of Major Pavlovsky and their operations behind enemy lines. I also watched it third, so that's how I rate it. And here's my brief opinion for you - difficult tasks at the turning point of the war. The series has both pros and cons, so I will not delay the introduction for a long time, but I will get to the point.

So, the pros: 1. Scenario - if you remove one point (which I will say in the minuses), then we are again faced with interesting and difficult everyday life of our favorite scouts, taking place in 1943-1944. The tasks are no less difficult than they were before, and the risk of not returning is as high as ever. The characters are spelled out well, and the secondary ones too. Frankly, there are no "merged" and passageways here. There is no final as such, which is a little sad. Dialogues and staging at a high level. Moreover, one of the screenwriters was responsible for the Northern Front, so all those who want to watch an interesting and exciting series about the Great Patriotic War should pay special attention to this one.

2. Tasks - as always, I remember two very much: the operation in our rear and the most difficult task in Lublin, from where we have to get our agent out. The rest of the tasks are good, but I liked only these two. Moreover, the role of Lublin was played by our Vyborg (I know, I was there and walked through these narrow streets of such a venerable medieval city, and the Clock Tower is too noticeable to be confused). The Germans are shown to be a cunning and insidious enemy who can also make mistakes. And the operation in our rear is remembered for the fine work and even greater disclosure of different sides in some of the main characters.

3. Humor - there is less of it than in the previous parts, but even this amount is enough to dilute the heavy workdays. Mikhas, as always, well done!

4. Emotions - the series does not fall into "pink snot" and "Disney princessiness", but shows the Great Patriotic War as the cruelest war in the history of mankind. Death surrounds the heroes from all sides. Messengers, partisans, underground workers, pilots, everyone can die at any moment from a ridiculous accident or from a German bullet. And there are losses, bitter, unfair, heavy. All this complicates life and service. This is especially noticeable in Lublin, because the local Polish population of Russians is not very happy to see, and they do not queue up to help. This is what makes the whole trilogy stand out, and always keeps the quality bar.

Well, everything is fine with the costumes and decorations, so I decided not to single it out separately.

So, the cons: 1. Logical problems - there are several noticeable jambs that tear the integrity of the narrative and force the screenwriters to ask uncomfortable questions. There was practically no such thing in the "First Strike" and the "Northern Front". It's sad to realize that the finale is so out of line.

2. The music is different than in the previous parts. And it's good that it was removed, because if this tarantayka was present in the entire trilogy, then music would be impossible to consider a plus.

3. Budget - it is clear that this part was filmed almost on enthusiasm, because there is an acute shortage of money for high-quality full-scale shooting and battle scenes. In the previous parts, this is much better, which means that the creators realized their mistake and corrected themselves.

A little about the main characters: 1. Major Klim Pavlovsky, played by Pavel Trubiner, is the commander of a group of scouts, an experienced professional who has repeatedly proved himself in combat and operational work. Pavel, as always, coped with the role perfectly, because he had become more alert to play such people.

2. Captain Mikhas Sushkevich performed by Philip Azarov is a Belarusian guy, a jack of all trades, a veteran of the Winter War and the difficult first year of the Great Patriotic War. A strong and wiry fighter, which is better not to mess with. Philip is good in this role.

3. Senior Lieutenant Alexey Teneshev is a Moscow intellectual, who has already become an experienced and battle-tested scout, whose mind is often useful during assignments. Stepan Beketov was pleased.

Colonel Korneev, performed by Boris Shcherbakov, did not lose face again. Vladimir Gostyukhin also pleased Andrey Ilyin What a pity that more sequels about the Pavlovsky group were never filmed. Although there was potential. Why not consecrate 1942? And the victorious 1945? And the beginning of the Cold War with assignments in occupied and already divided Germany? And nuclear developments in the USA and the UK? Why wasn't this taken down? After all, there are resources, and experienced screenwriters are also present. There was only one thing missing - the desire.

And of the entire serial trilogy, my favorite and most high-quality part is the "Northern Front".

As a result, we have a good military and adventure series with a good script, such music, good humor, high-quality atmosphere of the Great Patriotic War, and with good acting.

My rating is 7 out of 10 and my recommendation for viewing!
