A great idea

A cross between Shark Tank/Dragons Den and The Apprentice for aspiring crypto projects.

The show is the first of its kind to show the real people behind these projects whilst also showing the masses that there is more to crypto than grifters and scammers as the show attempts to blend in some educational content.

The main 3 judges are great choices. All with very different backgrounds and viewpoints of what makes a great project. They carefully weed out and hand pick 4 hopeful projects which have the potential to be the next big thing.

If your interested in utility crypto projects or just curious then this is a must watch. In particular, if your interest in gaming projects and NFTs.

A very interesting series with exciting moments. The crew has done a very good job here, especially this is the first TV show of this kind. The selected finalists have presented their project very well so far, finally a good place to start if you are looking for new, innovative projects. I'm looking forward to the next episodes and hopefully there will be another season. "The Next Crypto Gem" also promises to deliver the basic information about crypto and blockchain in general to their viewers, let's see how in-depth it will be covered!

A scam marketed to the masses by grifters

As a way of trying to continue the grift and dupe more financially illiterate gamblers into buying, this show pretends to be a kind of shark tank or dragons den but is really one big advert for crypto.

Our judges, who are all bag holders after a long bear market and are desperate to unload their bags, are: 1. The only female in crypto 2. A web 3 gaming enthusiast (an industry that already failed) 3. A potato that learned to speak but couldn't find a suit that fits.

The potato states in his opening words that's he's looking for true utility, something that really makes peoples lives better. He's come to the wrong place.

You'll find no mention of the planet burning energy use, the Ponzi structure that must maintain a steady inflow of new suckers to even remain level, or the constant scams and manipulation by the large holders. It's one big casino, throw your money in and hope for the best. If it doesn't work out, you can always spend the rest of your life trying to convince others to buy your internet money tokens from you and harping on about how's it's the future of money.

The contestants run through their scams, a token that solves all known issues, a web3 platform that sucks real money from unsuspecting rubes, a platform that promotes web3 games, a man who collects old records (I assume nobody checked his invitation). Truly nothing of any interest, but then that's crypto, desperately trying to find a problem that can be solved by blockchain, unfortunately we've had 15 years of them trying and there is still nothing, not one single use case that isn't related to trying to hide your transactions from the tax man.

I watched it all the way to the end, it doesn't get any better.
