"Tempi Supplementari: Mind-Bending Thriller with Hitmen Seeking Redemption!"
yeyox-2423522 June 2023
Two men drive around in the early morning light. They find themselves in an undefined place, without remembering how to get there. An abandoned place. They are there waiting for instructions to kill someone, so they have been commissioned, but they don't know who, when and where. They discover that they are in a completely uninhabited and dilapidated town, where time seems to have stopped. The two protagonists, Ciro (Corrado Ardone) and Tanino (Massimo Peluso) are looking for answers, waiting for orders. In Ciro's memories a woman hovers, Simona Cuomo (Simona Tammaro), her presence will indicate the right direction. The protagonists will feel attacked, kidnapped, hunted down. Maybe it's all in their mind, maybe they're indulging in an examination of conscience that will lead them to have a second chance at life. One last chapter of their existence, extra time.

"A Mind-Bending Debut with Beckett Vibes and Stellar Performances!"
bebitov3 August 2023
Corrado Ardone with this directorial debut presents a film with Beckett tones, the style of the film is more reminiscent of a film by David Linch than any Italian author. The film has an excellent package in terms of photography, editing and audio, to be viewed with enjoyment. The first ten minutes displace, then slowly the viewer enters the story until the end with the twists that follow. A film that is good for the soul. I shared the film with some of my friends and I noticed tears from many at the end of the film. During the screening I also heard laughter several times, a film that really gives you all the emotions you need to love great cinema. I really hope that this author gives us these films more often, because even if his works are very interesting, he makes few of them, but surely each of his releases is always eagerly awaited, even by the press who I always notice are very attentive around Corrado Ardone . However, I must say that Massimo Peluso, the other protagonist, also did an exceptional job, I knew him as a comic actor and I remember that years ago I saw him in a club acting together with others, and he was a good comedian. Here it comes out dramatically and powerfully. The other actress, Simona Tammaro, was also very good, I didn't realize it was her first experience in the cinema, but it can be seen that she has a good theatrical training. You know, actors who do theater and cinema always work very well. To be recommended.

"Tempi Supplementari: A Captivating Blend of Comedy, Drama, and Unexpected Twists"
hovah-4130121 June 2023
"Tempi supplementari" speaks to people who have chosen a violent life (the author was born and raised in the Sanità district, at the time of the war between clans), draws alternative truths, does not judge but sentences those who have chosen what the street has given them taught: survival beyond feelings and emotion as a moment of weakness never to be shown. I have been following the director Corrado Ardone for some time. With "Sodom, the other side of Gomorrah" I laughed a lot and noticed his intelligent writing, with a humor that made me think. In America it did very well and won awards, then he released a short film on violence against women and even if the subject was difficult he managed to tell a drama of our times through a bitter smile. The short is called Se mi uccidi poi chi chi uccidi and you can also find it on youtube. With Tempi Supplementari, I think he has reached the right maturity, because he combines comedy with drama, laughter with tears of emotion, the ending is truly unexpected, it reminded me of a young David Linch. Surely his ideas are always brilliant and never trivial. I have seen that he is always followed by the same actors, it is clear that he has an efficient work group who follow him in all his adventures. I sincerely recommend this great little film, because it demonstrates that you don't need big budgets to make great films, but only great ideas, shot well. Even the photography impressed me a lot, it gave me a new experience. The dialogues stayed in my mind for days and I sometimes repeat them to friends: There are so many reasons to be angry at life, but you don't even have one to be angry all your life.
