Heart Of Darkness turns to Heart Of Gold

I'm in a daze after this episode, so much happened and so many emotions to deal with and reactions to come to terms with.

Evan is the protagonist of this episode, after what he saw in Partners In Crime, he does what we all expected he would do for the woman he loves. In doing so he not only makes an enemy in Vincent but Catherine too.

Cat & Vincent have a fight on their hands not only to save each other but to stay alive. Evan makes discoveries that will change his whole outlook on Muirfield, that also changes his life forever and that of Catherine Chandler.

The tender moment that VinCat share after the drastic events from Round 1 with Muirfield is just beautiful, heartbreaking and romantic.

I cried like a baby throughout this episode, I am still finding it hard to re-watch this episode. It gave us everything yet even more questions surrounding Vincent, Catherine & Gabe have aroused. Waiting with a broken heart for Ep.19...

This was a fantastic episode as well as all the past ones! This show has the capacity to improve each time, and this is what amazed me the most. It is the whole wonderful team that makes this possible. All cast has an unusual chemistry that, for some reason, makes you love all of them even when they play an unpleasant character. The story has always a sudden turn that the watcher doesn't imagine, leaving in his/her mind a lot of thinking afterward. Not only every aspect of everyday life as friendship, love, family, work is touched, but is touched with suspense, passion, joy, tension, sadness, action, excitement and much more. BATB is followed by thousands of dedicated fans because it deserves as well it deserves a hoped and deeply wished second season.I watched a lot of TV shows in my life and this is one of the few that really deserves a full attention ... It is not easy to explain but BATB, every time, leave me with "a good taste in my mouth";)

One of the best episodes

This episode was very heart wrenching but one of the best to date. Vincent's lines and movements were worth the entire episode. Brave and loyal, his and Catherine's actions are epic. Evan redeems himself from his actions in previous scenes and episodes.

The writers even reduced the camera time of the Gabe character, which made this episode the best one of the last several. Lately, the story has suffered because of the inclusion of the Gabe character. The writers seem to have devoted more time to his lines and actions than to the cohesiveness of the story. So having him in the background and Vincent Catherine and Evan up front made the entire episode worth it.
