Amazing movie must watch movie!
idipz20 March 2013
This is by far the best Nepalese movie that portrayal the religion, beliefs, traditions and cultures of Nepal. Extremely well presented a must watch movie for anyone not only for Nepalese but for everyone. all the actors and actress are very natural. Unlike other Nepalese movies which is overly acted and tried hard to make you laugh these actors performed so natural and so genuine. This kind of story is very common in not only in Nepal but in most of the eastern countries. and these actors are not a popular actors in Nepal film industry yet they have done really good job. A must watch movie for anyone who like to learn about different culture and is interested in Nepalese culture.

A Must Watch!!!
btimalsena23 March 2013
A must watch I must say. Brilliant piece of Direction and Acting... Unscripted and Natural Dialogues holds you as if you are part of movie. Amazing. Plot of movie is simple yet delivered at its best. I recognized only handful of actors like Mithila Sharma and Manoj Gajurel yet each and every actors are brilliant. It must be one of those few Nepali Movies I would highly recommend. Nepalese Audience would find the scenario in movie completely familiar as these sorts of incidences are fairly common at our part of world. I am a Medical Doctor by profession and I could see good research behind scene. Movie merges health education (that it intends to deliver) subtly yet effectively. Medical Scenario shown in the film are completely legit

Awesome Movie after all. I would rate it 9/10 for brilliant piece of acting and brilliant presentation.

Fabulous! Warning: Spoilers
This is a really good documentary about many critical factors behind high maternal mortality rate in Nepal! Gender discrimination, the young age of the girl, ignorance of her family members (about health care & deep faith in traditional healing practices), limited health facilities in district hospitals, and many more!

I really liked the ending part (a positive outcome) where her sister with complicated pregnancy successfully delivers her baby after getting continuous care & supervision! This movie assured me that the quality of Nepali movie production has improved so much!

All the characters in this movies have done a good justice to their individual roles! Hats off to myaadiproductions!ヽ(ヅ)ノ Keep up the good work!

Simple Beauty & Stark Realism
dsjemail25 August 2013
I gave this film ten stars for reaching beyond convention on so many levels. I love that the film was produced primarily as an improvised script. It gave a sense of realism that poetic speech cannot always relay. I love that the plot creates an awareness of women's health. And I love, love, love the simplicity of the character interactions. It feels as though we are sitting with the people we see on their porch, getting an ice cream with Pooja, sharing a smile between two sisters, and planting a tree with Rumy. The beauty and stark realism of the film inspires me to share my own voice and perspective of life, to pay the inspiration forward.
