Real Drama about Unreal Things
therunner4212 January 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is really about the demise of Clay. After decades of misdeeds he has lost the presidency and in this episode he will lose the club. You have to hand it to Ron Perlman, he is outstanding in his portrayal of the broken man. You almost feel sorry for Clay…..almost. The division between Jackson and Tara accelerates as well. There is a real chance Tara might go to prison and with new enemy in the form of Lee Toric on the scene it looks like the doctor may be in real trouble. Tara is also fed with Gemma and when Wendy makes noise about custody, Tara begins to feel desperate. Jackson has trouble coping with all of this. He really is a very busy man. This episode is another reason why this show is excellent. It is real drama about unreal things (for most of us). The acting and writing is superb. I have no idea why it hasn't won a stack of Golden Globes. In my opinion, it is the best show around.

Warning: Spoilers
A pretty sad episode that shows Clay falling. It was actually pretty painful for me to see his tattoo being covered as well as the moment of his break down. Ron Perlman was once again wonderful in his performance, he is indeed a great actor.

But the good thing is that Clay still is alive and by that maybe has a chance to have a comeback. I am sure rooting for him and am happy for what Bobby did.

Jax is getting on my nerves. How he goes after Clay and also his attack on Wendy. At this point I hope they all will be able to fight him and win.

Jax has turned out to be the real villain of this series. I hope he gets a bullet in the head soon.

Good episode but Jax sucks pickle pie.

Warning: Spoilers
Jax starts with a voice-over explaining his plan and how he will make his father proud. The club comes to a meeting and Jax has to decide about bringing Clay to the table. Clay tells the club about his overall plan to get back to the table not wanting to get anyone hurt. Clay leaves and a vote goes through to if he loses his patch. They all agree and Clay loses his patch. Jax then asks if anyone has any idea on getting rid of Clay and they all vote to whether Clay is killed. When votes are said Bobby says no to killing Clay and the vote does not go through. When the votes do not go his way Jax jumps on Clay and has to be pulled off him. Bobby made the deal with Clay because he wanted to keep Jax from becoming what he wants to kill. Jax is still mad especially because he has lost Obie. Clay is then left alone and starts to cry that he has lost his patch. Tara starts her confession about the whole incident with Otto. Jax goes to talk to Pope about his problems with Clay and if he should go against the club. Clay has the cartel meet with potential new clients for them. Tara tells Wendy about Gemma getting into a crash with the kids. She then tells Gemma she has a new offer of a job and that Wendy would be the person she would give the kids to if anything happened to her and Jax. When the Cartel come in to help with the deal the Irish, Cartel and Sons have a shoot out. Gemma comes looking for some help for Clay after getting beaten by Jax from Nero. While clearing out his apartment Clay gives Juice a gun as a present. The club then goes on lock down because of this whole situation. When Jax goes to get his sons safe he sees Wendy playing with his son. Just as Wendy was sitting down upset she is taken away by the mysterious man. The brother of the dead nurse comes to find out more on how his sister died. The man asks too many questions and does not like some of her answers giving her his old card. When everyone in the club is waiting Jax finds out that they need money to get Wendy back. Nero uses his advice to Jax in return for some guns. The money is exchanged with the Irish and Wendy is made safe. Clay talks to the Irish that he is going to go independent with them only caring about money. Wendy comes back talking about how the kids are in trouble even though they think the kids are fine. Wendy then says she is coming for Abel to get him out of the trouble. Tara is now worried about her safety in everything. Clay asks Gemma to go into business with him but she has some thinking to do about it. Clay gets his patch removed while the club looks at him going out of the club. Gemma comes back into Nero's life while continues to get his Sons Patch taken off of him. Jax goes to Wendy's apartment to talk when in fact he is threatening her by putting drugs back into her system. Great episode and it just shows how truly evil and twisted Jax has become without noticing it.

EPISODE GRADE: B+ (MVP: Charlie Hunnam)
