This episode is really about the demise of Clay. After decades of misdeeds he has lost the presidency and in this episode he will lose the club. You have to hand it to Ron Perlman, he is outstanding in his portrayal of the broken man. You almost feel sorry for Clay
..almost. The division between Jackson and Tara accelerates as well. There is a real chance Tara might go to prison and with new enemy in the form of Lee Toric on the scene it looks like the doctor may be in real trouble. Tara is also fed with Gemma and when Wendy makes noise about custody, Tara begins to feel desperate. Jackson has trouble coping with all of this. He really is a very busy man. This episode is another reason why this show is excellent. It is real drama about unreal things (for most of us). The acting and writing is superb. I have no idea why it hasn't won a stack of Golden Globes. In my opinion, it is the best show around.
