I am a great fan of Mary Elizabeth Winstead and curious about all her works, but this 3-minute film here did not really do much to me. Of course, she looks stunning as usual, but the action is simply too uninteresting. She basically stands at a wall wearing a headset and reciting French phrases she hears over it. At the bottom, we see the English translation of what she is saying. I wish writer and director Riley Stearns could have added at least an interesting ending to it, but the camera switching so we see the headset wasn't plugged in was really a pretty stupid idea. Are we supposed to wonder why she was saying these thing when she did not hear anything apparently? That is not suspense. It may have been a nicer idea to imply with subtlety maybe that she would plan to go to France and commit a terrorist attack in the end or so. Actually, almost all other endings would have been better than what Stearns really chose. Strange little movie and no reason to see it apart from Winstead's looks of course. Not recommended.
