Can't stand others negative reviews
zvvhzwgh6 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Additions patient didn't die because of her giving "wrong" chest compression. She had internal bleeding bc a doctor was afraid of being prosecuted if helping her. I don't understand how you side with the baby cuz in this live threatening scenario both died. So it's a lose-lose situation. Zola is not afraid of her getting Alzheimer but of losing Meredith and Maggie. Keep up with the plot.

Wow I can't believe that someone has to point out that "90% off the students are black". I don't know where you live but maybe you're just surround yourself with white folks. They also don't talk about Covid anymore because they made it perfectly clear that this season is playing in a "fictional world" where Covid has been cured. If you're so done with the show then why bother watching it and especially why bother leaving a review!

They've Never Been Afraid To Go There
tmh987 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Even when it's not pretty, even when it's not comfortable, this show has never been one to shy away from the most important topics. This week's episode was completely heartbreaking. My childbearing years are over, but I have an adult daughter who I fear for every day. This episode included a story about a mom who needed an abortion due to an extremely risky pregnancy issue. But, because of insane and archaic laws designed and upheld mostly by old white men, her doctor was scared to treat her and risk losing their license. During transport across state lines, she has a medical emergency and dies. Yep, everyone, this is now the world we are living in. GA has always been hard hitting on the important topics. And the important topics are becoming uglier. I'm very interested in the direction they are going and I look forward to seeing how things play out. I'm also quite curious how the Zola/Boston storyline is going to unfold. As for the low rated reviews, personally, I find it difficult to put any kind of stock in reviews from people who watch a show they hate, just so they can hate on it. I've never been able to make sense out of that. For me, life is too short to waste any time unnecessarily doing things I hate. But, to each his own.

Oh, and one last thing. Literally no one is having a full term abortion for fun. Literally no one. If a woman has a full term abortion, it's because something has gone terribly wrong, either with mom or baby or both.

So, one more episode left in the season. I bet we are not going to like the finale ending. 😬

The whining people didn't get the point of the episode
denysgh6 November 2022
Such a heartbreaking and important episode! Addison's meltdown was incredibly painful and brilliantly acted.

I'm sick and tired of all the negative reviews from people who don't understand why the overturn of Roe v Wade is a national crisis. It's not (just) about unborn babies, and this episode captures it flawlessly.

In many cases, abortion is a life-saving procedure that doesn't have to do anything with unwanted pregnancies. The fact that doctors are now afraid to perform even similar procedures because some loon might report them and cost them their job and license is infuriating (and mind you, not happening solely in The US).

The patient's life could have been saved had her doctor not been afraid of going to jail because of this ridiculous ban.

Why do people care what others want to do with their bodies? It's none of their damn business and politicians need to understand this. Be a pro-lifer if you want, but don't butt in to other people's lives and choices, because what they do with their bodies only concerns them.

Well done, Grey's! This is why the show is still kicking ass in Season 19! And LMAO at the "Addison doesn't know CPR" comments. You do realize it would have cracked the actress' ribs if Kate Walsh had done it properly.

Consequences
estathena24 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Never one to turn away from difficult storylines Grey's Anatomy succeeds once again in tackling the heartbreaking and too often real consequences of arcane laws that disproportionately effect a segment of the population.

Abortion is medical care one that is often necessary to save lives and having politicians and the state in doctor's offices has real life implications and consequences - which this episode depicts masterfully and respectfully.

Be it Alzheimer's, ectopic pregnancies, or cancers and their treatments, decisions are made and choices are weighed between the patient and the doctor, no one else.

From the first season to now the 19th, Grey's Anatomy is still on the cutting edge. Well done.

If I wanted to be preached at about liberal news, I'd watch CNN
lrabeler23 February 2023
This show started out great, but they should have ended it years ago. They've run out of interesting story lines and now just have to make every episode about whatever news topic is going around, and they have to force it down your throat. It's been clear for years that the writers are very liberal and it's been fine, but now they are forcing their opinions on their viewers and it's no longer an interesting and entertaining show.

There are barely any likeable characters anymore. Most of the characters are whinny and annoying. The show just needs to end already. Fortunately they haven't ruined Meredith too much.

Very boring season
iwichel8 November 2022
This season is boring. Very boring. Not interesting. This has to finish in a dignified way. Not to follow this boring screenplay. Boring very boring. After 18 seasons the last were not so good but always it was one episode to bring emotion. This one has no a little bit of interest. New doctors boring. Elder boring also and Meredith smiles. I don't understand why . I will chance more 2 episodes and then leave.

Boring. Boring. I follow because you are telling me that there are not enough characters and I want to tell everyone how boring is this season.

Boring. Very boring. The acting is boring. The production is boring.
