Score for Hallmark Channel!

S10 E1 of #WCTH is a winner!!! #Hearties have waited long and somewhat patiently for the return to Hope Valley and we were not disappointed. There was a much more relaxed feel in town in spite of hard times hitting the valley. In true Hope Valley fashion friends, neighbors, and community all pulled together to help one another. Lucas and Lee are both hiring as many people as they can...even pushing beyond what they may be able to afford. The children have made a wonderful discovery which just might bring in some much needed income for the community and perhaps help Bill with his mysterious lung illness. So good and looking forward to E2 and the 100th episode!!! We are #Hope Valley Strong!!!

Season 10 begins in fine fashion! Hope Valley is experiencing an economic downturn, but the community units to lend support. The children of Hope Valley discover hot springs, and Judge Avery takes the plunge. This episode marks the debut of Lindsay Sturman as showrunner and lays the groundwork for many interesting storylines for the main characters. Elizabeth and Lucas plan for a Fall wedding, and the Coulters prepare for the birth of their first child. Elsewhere, Nathan welcomes a new Mountie dog and navigates his relationships with the single ladies Mei Sou and Faith Carter. Henry awaits trial, and the town enjoys a community dinner at the newly renovated Queen of Hearts.

Welcome back, Hope Valley

Warning: Spoilers
After the last two seasons of confusion, this was a great start. I liked the opening with Elizabeth journaling, we were reminded right away why we like Hope Valley and would like to live there - that community spirit.

Good things: Lee Coulter is back at the saw mill, hallelujah, finally a storyline for him that makes sense - last season his story was muddled and confused, so it's refreshing to have him back to, well, being himself. And I just love he and Rosemary together- they have their groove back! And it's so wonderful to see her pregnant. She's just glowing and I love that sense of parenthood being a "big adventure". Great job with their arc as a couple- we are so onboard!

Quote of the episode: "Oh, Lee! We are on a big adventure." -Rosemary

Another great thing: Love Joseph and Minnie, he's finally got a decent storyline too, between being Lee's right hand man and the Pastor. Yay.

Also love the "gal" trio: Faith, Fiona, and Mei. I think this is pretty great to have the three single ladies living together and supporting each other as friends. Wonderful girl power, which speaks to all the single ladies out there. Great job on creating this "sista-mance" that's just so beautiful onscreen.

And the biggest highlight for me: Nathan and Allie. Wow, so great to see them back together. They just light up the screen. Loved the teasing interaction when Allie tells him to seize the day. Loved the dancing together as father and daughter. And I really really loved the way she leaned back on him, and he supported her, when Elizabeth read her poem to the community. It was lovely to see them together after so many few moments last season. Thank you for taking their arc to the next level! We are so here for it.

Oh, and how could I forget- Scout! Such a great and funny addition. I just love these humorous moments - Kevin McGarry can pull them off so perfectly! The look on his face when he was handed the leash. Classic Hope Valley moment. And I laughed so hard when Allie came in and "adopted" him. No way Nathan is getting rid of him now lol.

The one lowlight for me is still Lucas and Elizabeth, although I have to be honest, he is growing on me. I do like his effort to help the community. He's showing real growth, which is encouraging. Though, I'm a little worried why they aren't agreeing on the wedding plans.

But, overall, I am pleased with the premier. The writers came out swinging, with great new stories (that actually make sense), and they immediately reminded us why we love Hope Valley. Old characters found their way back to "themselves", and new friendships were made. The community has regained it's place at the "center" (thank you so much for this wonderful community dinner!), and "family" was championed. Welcome back, Hope Valley!

Welcome Back WCTH

Warning: Spoilers
Oh wow, after such a long wait, we finally got S10! Episode one did not disappoint at all. The same wholesome, uplifting show.

This episode found Hooe Valley in an economic down turn. Lucas and Bill were doing all they could to help provide work and also, in Lucas' case, buying up produce he didn't even need! Lucas and Elizabeth are still going strong and planning a Fall wedding. They share a beautiful romantic moment watching the Northern Lights. Rosrmary is due in a few weeks. Lucas asks Minnie to help him prepare a surprise for Hope Valley folks! There us lits more too, including a new Mounty dog!

The school children discover something that may bring prosperity back to HV.

It was a wonderful start to great new season!

Oh dear the WCTH ship is heading for the rocks

Warning: Spoilers
This is bad. Very bad. The only bright spot in the show is Rosie & Lee. Bill is good but his refusal to seek help when he started coughing up blood was irritating and irresponsible. We can't lose that guy! But I did like his Hope Spring scenes and his bathing suit. He's another bright spot in the show.

Henry's story is getting very old. This suffering act that has lasted years has worn us viewers down to the nub. Enough... it's time to let it him be happy already! Let him start his own business that is successful this time. For all that is holy in this world ..let the guy be happy already jeeze.

Nathen and Faith are all wrong. No chemistry there whatsoever. None. I don't understand how the powers that be cannot see this. Nathen fans are still reeling from him getting the shaft and now to try and pair him with Faith?! Yuk. It was a disaster with Mei and it will be the same with wooden boring Faith. Why couldn't she had exited with Carson?! ARGG! Nathen needs someone new brought in with no show baggage.

I couldn't give two nickels about Elizabeth and Lucas. There is absolutely no chemistry or connection there with them. He has actually changed her to someone we don't love anymore. Elizabeth used to be my favorite, I can't stand her or Lucas and I still fast forward through their scenes. At this point I don't want her anywhere near Nathen, he deserves so much better.

It's time to bring back Abigail. This show needs a jolt and Lori is the one that could give it. I say put her with Henry, they have a real connection. We know Henry has always loved her. Big possibilities here.

This show has taken a big nosedive. The powers that be are making wrong decisions but it's not too late to right the ship. Start with getting rid of Lucas. Maybe even Elizabeth but if Lucas is gone then maybe we can have the Elizabeth we fell in love with from the beginning. And bring in a new fresh woman for Nathen. He deserves someone good that will knock his socks off and steal his heart. I'm hanging in there by a few fibers. Come WCTH... those rocks are approaching fast! Do something before it's too late.
