Josh Gad has been extremely busy recently, particularly with his YouTube series Reunited Apart - where he brings together famous casts from movies like The Lord of the Rings and Ghostbusters - and the recent release of his film Artemis Fowl. When he's not getting starstruck over actors from his childhood, he's professing his love for his wife, Ida Darvish, on Instagram. The pair first met in 2004, after they were cast as a married couple in the David Ives play All in the Timing, before becoming an actual married couple in 2008. In an interview with i, Josh described their meeting as "one of those things where it was just kismet and we've been together ever since."
The couple have two daughters, Ava, 9, and Isabella, 6, and run a production company called Angry Child. Just like Josh, Ida has a few notable onscreen and voice roles, including multiple characters in the Assassin's Creed video game franchise,...

While we wait for the new trailer for Stranger Things Season 2 to be released today, here's the full soundtrack track list. The names of the songs on the list certainly seem to tease some of the plot points in the upcoming series.
I loved the soundtrack of Season 1 as the songs were fueled with the nostalgic 80s synthesized greatness. The opening theme alone is has become iconic.
Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein returned to compose Season 2 and they will be giving the new season new sounds, while also revisiting old themes. They explain in a statement:
“In Season 2 we’re introducing new styles of composition, while still revisiting old themes when appropriate. We’ve created new elements that are necessary to support the story, but still want to remain true to the sound of Season 1.”

You may recall back in 2009 the news story about a young 22 year old man named Oscar Grant who was shot by a police officer in a train station in an out-of-control situation that was actually caught on camera by on-lookers on their cell phones. These videos were shown by numerous news stations and made their way across the internet.
The story is a sad one, a tragic one, and one that it is impossible to watch unfold without becoming emotional and feeling angry, yet this film is important and director, Ryan Coogler, does a commendable job, especially when one takes into consideration that this is Coogler’s first feature film. We follow the final day in the life of Oscar, played with conviction by star-in-the-making Michael B.

On Jan. 19, E! premiered its newest guilty pleasure #RichKids of Beverly Hills, which will immediately be either your favorite new TV show or the most obnoxious program you’ve ever seen. I’m personally a fan of horrible people doing fabulous things (or fabulous people doing horrible things, which is pretty much the same thing anyway), so I’m reluctantly on board for this trashy romp through the luxurious world of Beverly Hills twentysomethings.
While the show purports to follow a cast of spoiled brats, the #RichKids at its core are Dorothy and Morgan, two high-living do-nothings who are alarmingly self-aware in their preposterousness.

Not since we heard the dance remix of “Coming Clean” for the first time have we been this excited about Hilary Duff‘s career! Deadline announced today that the Lizzy McGuire star has signed a talent/development deal with 20 Century Fox TV. Under the contract, Duff will star in a “half-hour comedy vehicle” developed by the network, or a subsequent comedy or drama show if Hilary’s pilot doesn’t work out. Following her breakthrough starring role on the Disney Channel comedy series Lizzie McGuire, Duff transitioned to movies with the successful Lizzie McGuire movie. Rob is competing on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and he says he’ll go further than Kim did — and she knows it!
Ouch! Robert Kardashian has some harsh words for his newly married sister Kim Kardashian. Rob’s dancing partner Cheryl Burke shockingly said Rob has more potential than his sister Kim, for winning Dancing with the Stars.
“Kim knows it,” Rob said. “She wants me to do better than her. She wants me to go further than she did. I think it’s a known thing that I’m better.”
Kim competed on season seven of DWTS with partner Mark Ballas. Rob and Cheryl scored a 16 for their Viennese Waltz, so we’ll have to see if Rob’s got the rhythm he says he does!

Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Josh Gad, Ana Gasteyer, and Kristen Schaal ... all hilarious comedians, but on May 20th they were performing stories written by kids! No, they aren't in desperate need of new material, they were helping out at the benefit for "Story Pirates," a group that promotes literacy as a vital part of childhood education.
Kristen Schaal from Toy Story 3 is a founding member of "Story Pirates," but The Daily Show host Jon Stewart took the program to the next level when, after attending a "Story Pirates" show in 2008, went on CNN's Larry King Live and talked about it. Now their programs are in over 100 schools around the country. In Stewart's words, “The Story Pirates give kids a love of creative writing and a confidence in that ability that they can't get anywhere else."

Charlie Sheen has been at the front and center of the news for months - the hotel incident in New York City, the parting of ways with "Two and a Half Men," the public disagreements with "Men" creator Chuck Lorre and now his nationwide tour.
Actress Louise Linton, who can soon be seen starring as a friend of Kate Middleton's in the Lifetime movie "William & Kate," worked with Charlie on a movie and tells Zap2it that he could not be more professional.
"He was very professional on the set and he was exceptionally well put-together," says Linton. "Not at all what anybody was expecting."
The movie is "She Wants Me," which Linton describes as "a bit like 'Love Actually, in that there is a lot of different parallel storylines and love triangles going on."

From MTV Movies: Last October, after being handed the script for "She Wants Me" by a friend and producer on the indie comedy, Charlie Sheen signed on to play a small role — an outsize version of himself also named Charlie Sheen. He shot his scenes over the course of a few days, and according to writer/director Rob Margolies, was "on time every day and really reliable and always in a good mood."
But speaking to MTV News on Wednesday from Los Angeles, where he's in post-production on the movie, the filmmaker said that the Sheen he's seen in countless recent TV interviews — talking about melting faces and armless children on "Good Morning America," for example — bears little resemblance to the man who was nothing but professional on set.
"Charlie wasn't like that at all," Margolies said. "He was completely in control and not on the defensive. No one ever felt uncomfortable.

Charlie Sheen is set to put his troubles behind him to shoot a cameo role in a new movie this week (beg25Oct10), just days after he was dramatically hospitalised in New York.
The Two And A Half Men star hit headlines when cops were called his hotel room in the early hours of Tuesday morning, where they reportedly found the suite trashed and the actor nude and in an "emotionally disturbed" state.
He was admitted to hospital and a representative claimed the star had suffered an "adverse allergic reaction" to medication.
Sheen subsequently flew back to Los Angeles, where he is due on the set of new romantic comedy She Wants Me later this week (ends31oct10) to film a small role.
And the movie's producer Danny Roth is confident Sheen will honour the commitment, because the actor has been in touch with film bosses since the hotel incident.
Roth tells TMZ.com, "(Sheen) has been in constant communication with the production... there is no doubt he will show up to filming. (If he doesn't show up) it would force us to re-shoot a lot of what has been shot. (But) we're absolutely not worried."...

Hollywoodnews.com: Charlie Sheen’s first role following his day-long hospital stay should be an easy one for him. He’s expected to play himself in a brief cameo for a film being directed by a close friend.
The project, more than likely, is Rob Margolies’ “She Wants Me,” an independent comedy starring Hilary Duff that’s filming in Los Angeles. Variety reported earlier this week that Sheen would cameo as himself in the film, while People writes this morning that Sheen was anxious to get back to work.
“Charlie will be working this week doing a cameo role, playing himself, in a small movie as a favor to a friend and has every intention of going back to work on ‘Two and a Half Men’ on Tuesday,” said his manager, Mark Burg.
The 45-year-old actor was hospitalized after police found him to be intoxicated and in need of medical treatment.

It's been a while since we last saw Hilary Duff on the big-screen, but she's back in action in "She Wants Me," an indie flick written and directed by Rob Margolies ("Lifelines"). The film has started shooting.
Variety says "Me" follows a writer named Sam (Josh Gad), who's doing a feature film and runs into trouble when Duff's character wants to play the lead he already promised to his girlfriend (Kristen Ruhlin).
Sounds interesting. Also appearing in the film is Charlie Sheen, who will play himself in a short bit. As for Duff, she's still attached to "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde." She recently starred in "According to Greta."...

Never fear: despite the headline, our Man In La (hello!) has no delusions over his romantic chances with Hilary Duff (which goes double now she went and got married to a hockey player). Nope, the title merely reflects the fact that she’s just joined the cast of indie comedy She Wants Me, which sees her joining a cast including Charlie Sheen and Josh Gad.It’s a tangled-web, Hollywood-spoofing tale about Gad’s neurotic writer (is there any other kind?) Sam, who is deep into development on his next film. While he’s promised the lead role to his girlfriend, a struggling actress named Sammy (Kristen Ruhlin), his life suddenly becomes much more complicated when a big name starlet (Duff) starts hinting that she might take the role on. Where do Sam’s loyalties lie? With the woman he loves or the chance to get his movie seen by more people?...
