The top 2 draft picks of the 1998 NFL Draft were Peyton Manning by the Colts and Ryan Leaf by the Chargers. Peyton Manning went onto win a Super Bowl, be a multiple time Pro Bowler, set a lot of records and probably be an NFL Hall of Famer. Ryan Leaf on the other hand went onto to throwing a bunch tantrums and even more interceptions. He basically washed out of the NFL within a few years.
Charles Woodson who was taken #4 overall by the Raiders has had a stellar career himself, been with the Packers for the 2nd half of his career though.
The steal of the draft though was the Vikings being able to get Randy Moss at #21 overall.
The Steelers got a hell of a deal in getting Hines Ward with the last pick of the 3rd Round, that's a steal IMO.
