“The mutants are coming. The bell has been rung.” – Yes, that famous dialogue from Batman V Superman has been modified, but it perfectly fits with what Deadpool & Wolverine is about to bring to the theatres. The Deadpool threequel will officially introduce mutants in the MCU’s continuity, and the X-Men fans can’t be more hyped!
Storm in X-Men ’97
As soon as it was confirmed that the mutants were coming to the main timeline, fans began looking up at the possible casting choices for their favorite X-Men. And one of the most popular X-Men characters is Storm aka Ororo Munroe, who happens to be one of their strongest heroes.
Deadpool 3 will be bringing back a number of mutants from the Fox movies, and it is more than likely that Marvel will reboot the older continuity and introduce younger actors as the quintessential X-Men after that. And we have...

Aniston and her Echo Films partner Kristin Hahn are producing a “9 to 5” reimagining for 20th Century Studios, Variety has confirmed.
The film is currently in development, with Diablo Cody working on the latest draft of the “9 to 5” reimagining. Plot details are being kept under wraps.

Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton and Dabney Coleman starred in the 1980 office satire, directed by Colin Higgins and written by Patricia Resnick. The hit comedy film spawned a sitcom of the same name, which aired on ABC from 1982 to 1983, and in first-run syndication from 1986 to 1988. Parton, Tomlin and Fonda participated in the 2022 documentary “Still Working 9 to 5,” which focuses on the impact of the classic film 40 years later.

The actor, 43, talks about irreverence, trying to look more awake, his love of music, and the pursuit of art
I have mixed feelings about being the first non-white actor to win a Bafta. I was very grateful, but it also raised questions. I remember watching The Buddha of Suburbia and Bhaji on the Beach as a kid. British-Asian culture didn’t start in 2017, when I won. It’s weird to think it wasn’t recognised until that point.
Working on Four Lions with Chris Morris was a great lesson in irreverence. Even if people insist you take things seriously, you don’t have to. Actually, it’s probably more important not to. Comedy can take the teeth out of even the most serious issues.
I only started acting because my mum wanted me to pronounce my “T”s properly. When I was seven, she took me to speech and drama lessons.

Adam Sandler is one of the most prolific comedy actors working in Hollywood right now. The actor has his particular brand of comedy, with his gruff voice, loud humor, and the inclusion of Kevin James in many of his films. Though the actor has proved his acting chops in more dramatic roles such as Punch-Drunk Love and Uncut Gems, his comedic roles are still classics.
One of his breakthrough comedies was the sports comedy Happy Gilmore. The film follows the story of an ice hockey player who competes in a local golf tournament. The film was a huge commercial hit, putting Sandler on the map as a bonafide comedy star. His co-star Christopher McDonald mentioned that Sandler had shown him a copy of a sequel for the film.

Jackie Chan, Keanu Reeves, and Angelina Jolie alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Jim Carrey, and several others have looked naturally unique if we go back to the old videos of the stars. Of course, their charm is still intact, but the innocence and free young spirit in their faces exhibit how time flies.

Adam Sandler may be revisiting one of his most beloved comedies almost 30 years later.
The “Spaceman” and “Uncut Gems” star is said to have developed a script for “Happy Gilmore 2,” a sequel to his iconic 1996 film. Original actor Christopher McDonald said during Audacy radio show “92.3 The Fan” that he saw a draft of the script.
“I saw Adam [Sandler] about two weeks ago, and he says to me, ‘McDonald, you’re going to love this,'” McDonald said. “I said, ‘What?’ He says, ‘How about that,’ and he shows me the first draft of ‘Happy Gilmore 2.'”
McDonald aded, “Maybe you should cut that out [of this audio] because I don’t want to be a liar, but he did show me that, and I thought, ‘Well, that would be awesome.’ So, it’s in the works. Fans demand it, dammit!”

Hollywood faces a significant imbalance when it comes to its stars. There are some actors like Adam Sandler who can’t separate the profession from real life and cast his friends and family as characters in movies. Then, there are others who vanish into a role for years, portraying their commitment to the art.
Actors like Dwayne Johnson and Adam Sandler often portray characters close to their real-life persona
While bringing their real-life persona into a character is not necessarily a bad thing, there are actors whom the audiences love for it and some whom they hate for the same. Here’s a look at actors who often portray characters close to their public image.

After a weekend with the Oscars sharing the spotlight with the best one-two punch at the box office since July, the VOD and Netflix current home viewing charts lag in importance. “Argylle” (Universal) had a good launch on PVOD and “Damsel,” the kind of far-removed from awards thoughts Netflix original film, clicked with users immediately. Both bits of news are so below the radar that they have little relevance to how things stand in the industry.
“Argylle” — which Apple reportedly acquired for $200 million from “Kingsman” creator Matthew Vaughn and then released theatrically through Universal (with a gross of under $45 million) — came out on PVOD (for $19.99 rental) two weeks earlier than Apple’s earlier “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Napoleon.” And significantly, in doing so, delayed when their streaming subscribers gain access to it.

Plot: An astronaut realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth.

Having already directed plenty of action-thrillers, a few sci-fis and — last year — a whole load of mutts (the Venice-bowing “Dogman”), Luc Besson is now set to venture into epic fantasy territories with one of the most famous big screen characters of all.
The French director is to direct an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s’ “Dracula,” telling the story of 15th century Prince Vladimir who cursed God following the death of his beloved wife and is turned into a vampire. Later, in 19th century London, he discovers his wife’s doppelgänger and dooms himself by pursuing her.
Variety understands that Christoph Waltz is in talks to star, as is Caleb Landry-Jones, which would reunite Besson with his lead in “Dogman,” which bowed in Venice last year. Like “Dogman,” Besson’s EuropaCorp is producing.
Kinology is talking to buyers about the project at the European Film Market.

Adam Sandler has set a new comedy special at Netflix — this time directed by Josh Safdie.
The project continues Sandler’s string of collaborations with Safie, who co-directed him in 2019’s “Uncut Gems” alongside his brother Benny Safdie. Jennifer Aniston totally forgets about starring alongside David Schwimmer in Friends in the latest Super Bowl commercial for Uber Eats.
In the ad spot, which intends to showcase that people have to forget something else to remember that Uber Eats delivers almost anything, the actress gets an online delivery while working on set.
“I didn’t know you could get all this stuff on Uber Eats,” a crew member says, before Aniston adds, “Yeah, well you know what they say, ‘In order to remember something, you’ve got to forget something else.’ Make a little room.”
Schwimmer later runs into Aniston and is excited to see his old friend and former co-star, but the actress doesn’t feel quite the same way. “Have we met?” she asks.

In a new interview with Variety, the younger Safdie confirmed he and his brother are no longer looking to collaborate on new projects.
Benny Safdie had a pretty good 2023, all things considered. He starred in two of the best films of the year, as physicist Edward Teller in Oppenheimer and loveable dad in Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret. The Curse, the deeply weird black comedy he starred in alongside Emma Stone and Nathen Fielder, remains one of the buzzier TV hits in a pretty crowded marketplace.
On the directorial side, though, things seem to have taken a back foot. After the critical success of Good Time and Uncut Gems, Benny and his brother Josh’s next project, a sports memorabilia movie starring Adam Sandler and Megan Thee Stallion, has apparently been shelved for now, and in a recent Variety interview Benny seemed to confirm the pair are taking a creative break.

Welcome to another rundown of every stat released by the TV insights company Samba TV. Below, we’ll run through all their released viewing stats (whether through their socials or through somewhere else) for Netflix’s newly released movies for the past three years.
How does Samba TV get its data? As described on its own website, the company tracks what appears on the users’ TV by reading pixels and utilizing this data for personalized recommendations on the TV or mobile apps connected to the television.
It’s also important to note that Samba TV stats typically only cover US households.
Of course, Netflix itself releases excellent viewing stats every Tuesday via its top 10 site. However, more data is always good, and it’s good to see shows and movies benchmarked against each other from a company like Samba TV.

Actress Jennifer Aniston said that her ‘Friends’ co-star Matthew Perry was “happy” and “healthy” in the days ahead of his untimely death in late October. “He had quit smoking. He was getting in shape. He was happy – that’s all I know,” Jennifer told Variety in an interview published Monday as her ‘The Morning Show’ co-star Reese Witherspoon held her hand.
“I was literally texting with him that morning, funny Matty. He was not in pain. He wasn’t struggling. He was happy”, she said.

“I want people to know he was really healthy, and getting healthy. He was on a pursuit. He worked so hard. He really was dealt a tough one. I miss him dearly. We all do.

Adam Sandler’s daughter Sunny Sandler is now a movie star in her own right, but before she had a clear sense of how Hollywood works, she wasn’t thrilled about seeing her dad kiss actresses for his films.
Sandler appeared as a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Tuesday to promote his new Netflix animated feature, Leo, in which his daughters, Sadie and Sunny, join him in the voice cast. Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler have a bond like no other in Hollywood. Their friendship dates back long before they costarred in "Murder Mystery" and its 2023 sequel on Netflix, as the actors first met at a deli and bonded over french toast in the early '90s. "We were friends before 'Friends,'" Aniston said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in 2019, reflecting on her and Sandler's initial hangout more than 30 years ago. "We must have been like real family in another life."
The longtime pals famously played love interests in 2011's "Just Go With It," and the following year, Sandler spoke at Aniston's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, cracking jokes and declaring, "I love this girl. My wife loves this girl. The entire world loves this girl." Since then, the pair have remained closer than ever, hanging out with each other's families and praising one another in interviews any chance they get.

Music Box Films has dropped the trailer for “The Crime Is Mine,” François Ozon’s screwball comedy set in 1930s Paris starring Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Rebecca Marder and Isabelle Huppert.
A showbiz caper with a feminist edge in the vein of Ozon’s “8 Women” and “Potiche,” “The Crime Is Mine” will open in New York on Dec. 25, followed by Los Angeles and a national expansion.
Tereszkiewicz, who won a César award for best newcomer for her performance in “Forever Young,” stars as a struggling actress, Madeleine, who lives with her best friend, Pauline (Marder), an unemployed lawyer, in a cramped flat. Opportunity knocks after a lascivious theatrical producer who made an inappropriate advance toward Madeleine turns up dead. Madeleine admits to the crime and is acquitted on the grounds of self-defense — and in result becomes a star, as well as a feminist icon.

The cast of Friends used collective bargaining to level out their salaries. As an ensemble cast, they wanted to be treated as equals as their wages grew from $22K per episode to $1M. Each cast member of Friends earned around $90 million in base salary alone from the show before the addition of any backend bonuses and ongoing royalties from syndication, racking each actor up an impressive net worth. For 10 seasons, the Friends cast was considered the gold standard of sitcom television, but where do they stand financially today? Here is the net worth of the Friends cast ranked from richest to poorest.

Since the early days of his career on "Saturday Night Live," Adam Sandler has established himself as one of Hollywood's most prolific actors, producers, and filmmakers - not to mention comedians! Adam's versatile approach to comedy along with his recurring collaborations with friends on screen draw audiences to his movies and keep viewers coming back for more. The "Hustle" star is known for bringing his fellow actor and comedian friends to star in his film projects, like Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade. But he notably incorporates his family - especially his wife, Jackie Sandler - into his movies as well.
Recently, Jackie played a particularly big role in Adam's latest Netflix movie "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah," which also stars their daughters, Sadie and Sunny. She also voices a character in Adam's upcoming animated feature, "Leo," which also includes their two daughters.

A Deadly Invitation is a Mexican mystery thriller movie directed by José Manuel Cravioto. It stars Maribel Verdú, Stephanie Cayo, and Manolo Cardona. The film is based on the novel “Invitación a un Asesinato” by best-selling author Carmen Posadas.
The film follows Agatha, a true crime podcast host who is invited to a gathering at her sister’s, Olivia’s, luxurious yacht for a weekend getaway together with a group of her closest friends. The reason for the gathering is unknown to all. As the guests arrive on the yacht, tensions begin to rise culminating in… a murder.
A Deadly Invitation A Quick Review
If you are into Agatha Christie, and however many film and series adaptations of her novels have been produced over time, I recommend this movie.
It follows close to the exact same patterns, and production style as A Knives Out Mystery (2019); a contemporary multi-character murder mystery...

We’re the Millers fans aren’t likely to find out what happened to David, Rose, Kenny, and Casey because a sequel isn’t in the cards.
The 2013 comedy left fans with a cliffhanger. “The Millers” ended up in witness protection, living in the suburbs, running a marijuana side hustle. Questions were left unanswered like: Did David and Rose really end up together? And what role do Kenny and Casey play in the faux family?
We’re the Millers 2 ‘is probably not gonna happen’
Actor Will Poulter who played Kenny Miller said that he doesn’t think a sequel will ever happen. “I don’t think so, but I got a lot of love for Jennifer [Aniston] and Jason [Sudeikis] and Rawson [Marshall Thurber], our director. I would happily work with any of them again, but I think We’re Still the Millers is probably not gonna happen,” he told US Weekly in 2022.

The whodunit is back.
At least that seems to be the case in recent years with the success of Kenneth Branagh’s Hercule Poirot movies—the third one, A Haunting in Venice, hits theaters this week—Rian Johnson’s Knives Out thrillers, and even TV shows like Only Murders in the Building. But according to someone who should know, the great-grandson of legendary murder mystery writer Agatha Christie, the classic detective story subgenre has never quite gone away.
“I would say that the movie industry came to the game late,” says James Prichard, a man who is not only Christie’s descendant but also the chairman and CEO of Agatha Christie Ltd., which manages the literary and media rights to his great-grandmother’s works. “We’ve never gone away, we’ve been making stuff all through the last 10, 20, 30 years. But we didn’t make a movie for a very long time.
