- The prison in the prison scene is dark and spooky, and the scene also contains a jump scare.
- If The MPAA Rated This, It Would Be Rated PG For Some Drug Use & Action/Peril.
- The scene of the rising army of undead LEGO men is surprisingly scary compared to the rest of the movie, especially since two skeletons are actually important comic relief characters.
- There are several other scary characters, but most of them turn out to be friendly. Still, they are figures you can find in LEGO sets meant for children, none of them are too frightening.
- Some killing of Lego skeletons (if you can kill a skeleton).

- The main hero has a dark past, having lost his father. Though his story and development is more touching than upsetting.
