Great Content with Poor Execution....

After a long time I've seen this type of unique story presented by hindi film industry. Thanks to Jio for making this possible. Talking about the film, movie start with a decent note where a couple has been broke up and then the boy started seeing the other girl which he has met in a bar. From there the movie gets interesting and trust me it gets real interesting to watch. I've never expected this film will explore that kind of genre which is one of the best subject in horror world I won't talk about that because it could spoil the movie for you. Movie takes it's time to build up but after 30-40 mins the movie picks up the pace and things get real exciting.

Sonali Seygal one of the best performance of her career superb acting by her.

There are major flaws in this film such as the execution is not proper. You have the story but execution is very low it seems like we are watching some cheap movie with a serial budget. 2nd problem is the VFX it is very bad specially in the climax. Music and performance of the cast is average.

All n all if you are looking for fresh and unique horror flick in Hindi language go and watch this you'll not be disappointed...

The real concept of jinn new concept in hindi movies.

I love the way what the direction takes place, where the romantic and horror concept arises in movie. I will say the movie is far better than many of the Bollywood horror movies of all times.

I love the way where the two dimensional world told in the movie, showing the tri symetric concept of a movie to love all .

Some scary moments were there which was a good one . Overall movie is good to go for a one time watch i love this movie 🍿🎥 in a vast way.. same as expecting more and better from this horror concept movie.

Boring...

Needless to say that I had never heard about this 2022 Indian horror movie titled "Aseq", as I happened to stumble upon it by random chance here in 2023. But the movi's cover was really interesting, and thus I opted to sit down and watch it.

Writers Gauri Karnik and Sarim Momin put together a storyline that rather failed to entertain me, especially since there wasn't much of a red thread throughout the course of the 106 minutes that the movie ran for. And so many things in the narrative felt random and completely out of context, as if director Sarim Momin was simply just making things up as the filming of "Aseq" was progressing. And that made sitting through "Aseq" quite an ordeal.

The acting performances in "Aseq" were fair enough, despite the fact that the actors and actresses had very little of any proper contents to work with. Suffice it to say that I wasn't familiar with a single performer on the cast list, given my limited exposure to the Indian cinema.

For a horror movie, then I will say that "Aseq" was a swing and a miss. Writers Gauri Karnik and Sarim Momin just didn't manage to deliver anything scary, much less anything actually interesting or particularly enjoyable.

If you enjoy horror movies, like I do, then do yourself a favor and skip on "Aseq", because it simply isn't worth the time, money or effort. Some of us suffered through this so you don't have to.

My rating of "Aseq" lands on a three out of ten stars.

Superb movie

If I talk about the Aseq The characters in the movie are well-developed, and you will find yourself invested in their story and their fate. The special effects in the movie are impressive, and they add to the overall atmosphere of the movie. Aseq is a must-watch for horror movie lovers, and it is a movie that will leave a lasting impression on you. Loved this one so muchAseq is a horror movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. From the very beginning, the tension builds as strange occurrences start happening in the small town where the movie takes place. As the movie progresses, viewers are taken on a journey filled with unexpected twists and turning.

This movie was so funny it had so much humour I don't understand the negative reviews. Ye there was one or two scenes overly done but over all great entertainment. Must watch...Loved it i was laughing through the whole movie. The movie is not about rocket science, its a masala entertainer which will make you happy, a must watch. Full time pass movie. What is this?? Does the director even know the Abc of film making?

The first 10mins sets the tone for the disaster which is to follow..who knows what the criteria for casting films are anymore. There's absolutely nothing to like about this film so I'm struggling to criticise just one thing.

Starts with some random visions, disjointed scenes, followed up by a love song and then again some spooky cupboards opening and closing.

Now what I don't understand is why is this clown still living in a house that's spooking him? Why does he run outside when scared and then return back to investigate?

Conveniently information is revealed and hidden for effect.

I think the producer got conned into taking everyone for a holiday to London which was the true motive behind this film.

Extremely horrible right from the casting to the acting and dialogues. Vardhan Puri fails miserably to deliver a good performance and I dont think its his fault alone. Dont watch this movie. Please dont go by the ratings. This is horrible. Its a story based on a type of Jinn called Aseq who takes a human form looking for love. I can say the plot is not bad but the way it is directed is full of cringe. Do yourself a favour and watch Jagged Mind on Hotstar coz its worth it. Or watch Kerala Crime Files. Even Tin and Tina is better than this. I repent watching this movie. I just watched it coz I liked Vardhan Puri's acting in Yeh Saali Aashiqui. Disappointed!

Aseq: An Abysmal Film That Fails in Every Aspect

Aseq, where do I begin? This film is a prime example of how a project can go completely off the rails. From the casting to the acting, direction, and screenplay, everything about this film is an utter disappointment. In fact, it's hard to comprehend how it even made it to the big screen.

Let's start with the casting. It seems as though the casting director had no idea what they were doing. The actors chosen for the roles were completely mismatched and lacked any chemistry or believability. Their performances were wooden, uninspired, and devoid of any emotional depth. It felt like watching a group of amateurs attempting to act for the very first time.

The direction of Aseq is equally as abysmal. The pacing is inconsistent, and the scenes lack coherence. There is no clear vision or storytelling finesse. It almost feels like the director had no idea how to bring the script to life and simply let the film meander aimlessly from one scene to another. The result is a disjointed mess that fails to engage or captivate the audience.

As for the screenplay, it is an absolute disaster. The dialogue is cringe-worthy and lacks any semblance of wit or intelligence. The plot itself is convoluted and confusing, making it nearly impossible to follow or care about the characters' journeys. It's as if the writers threw together a mishmash of clichés and tropes without any consideration for originality or coherence.

Any positive reviews of this film must be fabricated because it is genuinely difficult to find any redeeming qualities. Aseq deserves no more than a single star, and even that feels generous. It is a prime example of a film that should have never seen the light of day.

In conclusion, Aseq is a trainwreck of a film. From its terrible casting choices to its lackluster acting, misguided direction, and incoherent screenplay, it fails to deliver on any level. Save your time and money and steer clear of this cinematic disaster.

Awesome story

Vardhan Puri's acting in the spine-chilling horror movie is a sight to behold. The young actor's talent and potential are evident in his portrayal of the complex character. His nuanced expressions and convincing delivery of dialogues make his performance stand out. In addition, the chemistry between Vardhan and Sonnalli in the movie is incredibly captivating. The two actors complement each other perfectly, bringing an added depth to their roles. As the plot unfolds, the audience is kept on the edge of their seats by the sheer intensity of the scenes, which are made all the more impactful by Vardhan's exceptional acting. Overall, this is an excellent horror film. If I had to criticise it in one way it would simply be that the intense finale wasn't as creepy as the build-up. The reason for that is really down to the fact that the slower build-up allows for moments that hit you out of left-field from nowhere and the quieter more deliberately paced sequences can be constructed up to a real genuine fright scene. By the end we know the source of the haunting and we are constantly tensed up during the final encounter meaning it doesn't have the same impact as the earlier scary moments. But I have to emphasise that this is really a very minor point and I really highly recommend "Aseq" to horror fans and more specifically those who like films about ghosts. Great stuff.

In Aseq movie Vardhan Puri's acting has been a revelation in the spine-chilling horror movie that has recently been released. Superb acting by him .One of the few fab movies from bollywood it just takes u on a rollercaster ride with so many turn arounds must watch movie for sure with two great actors of bollywood. It was a great piece of masterwork. You would think that movie is open up to your perceptions, but its certainly means you haven't watched it carefully. I have watched so many movies on Hindi but only a very few stand out... It is a classic master piece.. the movie is so engaging and keeps the audience guessing.. it has lately been doing some seriously good movies... The songs are a perfect blend of classical and contemporary music and they are beautifully sung by some of the most talented singers in India. The lyrics are also noteworthy as they are meaningful and convey the emotions of the characters in the movie. The music has been receiving a lot of positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike. It has even managed to top the charts in India within a few days of its release. The music of Aseq is definitely worth listening to even if you are not a fan of Hindi movies.

Do not miss such unique movies...I stopped watching his movies. And in this I missed this one -- my bad!! One of the Best, Superb & Brilliant Thriller, loved it! The reason I tried watching this one was only i want .. All The Roles are well Suited And Played Perfectly Played By The characters and is Set to Become the King Of Bollywood .. Wow it's a wonderful movie that i have ever watched in my life...This is the best movie to watch with entire family. Very funny movie. Acting of sir is so good in this film. There is comedy, action, historical monument in this film. I found this movie a masterpiece. I am laughing when I saw review like don't watch, no comedy, boring. He has a great personality & his action & comedy is mind blowing. His movies choice is very good & all movie is very insperatonal & motivational.. i salute for him he is a true indian & respectful person for film industry. I feel like the movie plot in the early seasons lacks a certain level of complexity due to it not having a vast amount of plot threads.

Great story choice. Scene play is Amazing. Mind blowing action drama emotion acting & everything is best. Actors best output so far you'll be fan of them 100/100. Thier meeting and intervel scenes are visual treat , second half has more emotions than first half flashback and climax are best .. this movie is way beyond our expectations which took us to into a pre-independence era world. Pride of Indian cinema. The visuals, direction and cinematography is amazing. The background music is top notch and supports the story all the way. The story is predictable but the emotions, twists and its presentation takes the movie to another level.

I would put this series my top 5 off all time despite the last few series were a tad disappointing. Maybe COVID affected the script writing but it did tail off. Enough of that and on to the good stuff. The early seasons are just phenomenal. It's less about the walkers and more about the characters and relationships they build and the challenges they faced in trying to forge a life amidst the horror around them. And in fact the other people rather than the walkers prove more of a problem to them. There's so much to keep you on tenterhooks. Stories are told brilliantly, there's genuine terror and fear. A constant menace. The first secens are incredible. There are moments that you'll never forget. Moments that will shake you to your core. Moments that are just 'what the...'

People who hated this movie clearly has no taste in movies or maybe wants to laugh at every scene possible if they are paying for a comedy movie...If you want to enjoy and laugh, you can go blindly to watch movie. Its too funny. It's hillarious. Best Comedy Bollywood movie . Funny characters. You will enjoy movie from start till end. Just watch and enjoy. Do not use your brain. There are other movies as well where you can use your brain. This movie is only for laughter. I love this movie because of the comedy scenes. Best horror So far till now i really liked it and Sonnalli Seygall did very good job about this movie and Definitely something for everyone (over 18 ofcourse). Even if you don't like horror, you can find solace in some of the storylines and even fall in love with the horror aspect. I watch this with my girlfriend (who refuses to watch horror films with me) and she loves this. Admittedly, there are some storylines that tail off, but that said, it will always remain entertaining throughout. Please just try the first season, if you don't like it, try the 5th. Everything is different, which is something else I love about it.

There are no words to express how much I appreciate your support.. this is a must-see for everyone who hasn't seen it Nothing about this, not even the writing, has to be modified..... This movie has also been a big hit. Drama, levity, and romance abound in every corner. Everyone should watch this!
