A short adaptation of a lesser known creation by Akira Toriyama, featuring a young demon quite similar in appearance to Trunks from Dragon Ball.
I guess this might be one of the very few ocassions where Toriyama has a villanous character as a protagonist; most of the time, while not conventionally heroic, the central figures of most of his work tend to be quite innocent and well natured.
The art style is also more cartoonish, enhancing the wacky nature of the plot, filled with lots of black comedy and even a little element of self-parody.
I'm not sure if this would have worked as a full series, but it was entertaining enough. At least it had a couple of sequels in a video game format.
