Interesting...

Kind of like House meets ER meets Nip Tuck.

I like it. I'll keep on watching. Hank is interesting and Divya is a welcome change to the bleach- blonde "accoutrement".

The medicine is sound "so far" and I love the "guy that got dumped getting a better deal" premise.

Most people would like to live in the Hamptons. Imagine having all of the wealthiest people on speed dial, in the Hamptons, paying you in GOLD BARS? Yeah...gotta twist my arm to get me there too.

His brother is annoying and the "falling for a fellow physician" is a little far-fetched but it still works. All of the eye-candy doesn't hurt either.

I hope it gets picked up.

It isn't bad

I was in the mood for some light entertainment and I gave this a try. I discovered, rather to my surprise, that I liked it. The pilot episode lags a bit in the early going, as we see our hero - having been fired for the accidental death of a billionaire donor to his hospital - sitting and moping in his apartment, bills piling up, drinking beer and generally feeling sorry for himself. But when he goes to the Hamptons with his brother for a weekend, it picks up and grows more entertaining as time passes. I'm actually looking forward to the second episode.

The brother is comic relief, the assistant (Divya) is adorable and the love interest (Jill) is, well, interesting. There is a LOT of eye candy, both human and scenery. Do not expect great television, but if you have an hour to kill, there are many worse things than Royal Pains.

Not for me

I wanted to give this a try as I love Mark Feuerstein and think he's adorable. However I couldn't last more than five minutes on this.

Something about the scenario and dialogue felt so fake and forced. I'm sure maybe it Gets better but I don't have time to find out unfortunately.
