Tammy is going to Paris with Mr. Brent, Lavinia and Gloria. Lavinia hopes the romantic city will influence Mr. Brent into proposing. Cletus is upset that Gloria is leaving and longs to be with her. Tammy writes home that they've met a designer named Mr. Jacques Poulard (character actor Benny Rubin) and Grandpa is suspicious of the man's intentions. Cletus answers an important business call for Mr. Brent from New York and finding extra plane tickets to Paris he and Grandpa set off for France.
