Tom is struggling to know what to do with work, and writes out a frivolous, scarfing notice of resignation, which Alice inadvertent posts.
I thought this was a funnier episode than the first, it did have somewhat more of the cosy eighties sitcom vibe, but it worked really well. I loved the caustic comments and sarcasm, most of the laughs genuinely did come from Miranda, I thought Sheila Steafel was terrific.
You can see the way the show is going, it'll be interested to see if Tom stays at work, or becomes a kept man.
I've been writing to see if Gerald and Miranda would meet, I could well imagine plenty of laughs coming from their characters. Their scenes together were the highlight I thought.
This was funny, 8/10.
