Get new friends
hallmarkmov27 March 2022
Her friends show up at her work to say they are married and expect her to drop everything, use up all her vacation days, to plan their wedding? They don't seem to be paying her, don't contribute anything but complain, and then begin an early honeymoon while she does everything. It's time to get new friends. The setting is beautiful and I enjoyed the scenic scenes when they walk around or ride their bikes. But the story? It's okay. I guess it's better than the best man and bridesmaid fighting and falling inlove- this one was slightly more original. Not sure when it became a standard that every single movie made by this company must have a dress up session with the same music played in the background. Are you really going to wear any of these dresses for a wedding? Your wedding? I won't give any spoilers but it's a pretty average movie. Nothing amazing.

Love can be strange
BandSAboutMovies22 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Madison (Anna Hutchinson, Jules from The Cabin In the Woods) finds out that her two work friends are getting married, so she jumps into wedding planner mode, finding a destination spot for cheap at a remote island vineyard in New Zealand. Of course, the reason it's so inexpensive is that the owner, David Westhaven (Josh McKenzie) was planning it as his own wedding.

Will these two end up together? I mean, how many of these movies have you watched?

Directed by Aidee Walker and written by John Banas, I watched this hung over on a Sunday morning and it had no demands on me. It was a friendly face as I tried to get my brains back in my head and yes, it was predictable, which is more than I can say for taking edibles, then wondering why they aren't working, then eating more which is definitely the worst thing you can do. I mean, jumping back into a relationship on the rebound is bad, but take my advice. Wait for the high to kick in and if it doesn't, it just wasn't the ideal time for it. Love is kind of the same way.

Lovely wedding & beautiful cast
Gainesa0915 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Having traveled to Waiheke Island myself this is such a beautiful film. I loved all the incredible views of the island. The actors were wonderful. And the main character and her two best friends seemed like they had a really good friendship bond.

I will add that in the beginning it did appear like the main characters friends were using her when they asked her to plan their entire wedding. That was shocking since the friend was already overworked and that's a huge task to place on someone. But this movie made it work by continually adding that being an event planner was her dream career that she was trained for and that her friends were trying to push her in that direction.

I really did enjoy this movie and I would have given it a 10, but I feel absolutely heartbroken for the ex-fiancée. Toward the end it's hard to root for the main couple to fall in love, when the guy just broke up with ex-fiancée and canceled their wedding days before the event. He kept saying the breakup was mutual, but it didn't look to be that way.

The wedding details at the end were stunning! It was very creative and I loved how everything came together. I did enjoy how the main character got incredibly close with those who worked at the vineyard and invited them to the wedding. The wedding felt more complete with them attending.
