- San Francisco based accountant Madison Brandson, good at her job but under-appreciated by her boss Malcolm Calder, returns to her first love of event management when her best friends Lorri and Ben - the three who treat each other like the Three Musketeers - announce their engagement and ask her to organize a small and simple but special, unconventional and adventurous wedding for them for as soon as possible. Researching and communicating online with the venue manager David Westhaven, she thinks she's found the perfect locale of Bayvista Winery on Waiheke Island, New Zealand as David is offering an all inclusive i.e pre-planned event at a great promotional rate on a set date of eleven days from today. Upon arrival at the winery, Madison discovers that the venue is everything and more than promised online, however the event itself everything that she and she knows Lorri and Ben do not want, the fact of the event already being set-up something she tries to keep from Lorri and Ben. The issue is is that originally unknown to Madison, they are taking over someone else's wedding - the first that would have taken place there in David wanting to expand their business to other ventures, against the wishes of David's vintner, Leon Symonds - that other couple being David himself and his ex-girlfriend, Lisa, who split amicably. With all the vendors already booked, Madison, with David's help, has to try and reorganize the event to meet Lorri and Ben's tastes within the constraints of those vendors. In working with David and discovering that she may have chosen the wrong career path in accounting - the safe option - Madison starts to fall for David, the feeling seemingly mutual. Beyond the issue of geography between them, the primary issue in a happily-ever-after for them is that his feelings may be a rebound from Lisa, who is still peripherally in his life in it being a small island.—Huggo
