Another great episode

Warning: Spoilers
Really well paced with some really funny jokes and details. The plot is surprisingly engaging and creative in ideas, wich is refreshing to see after Sringbroken. This is one of those episodes where the creativity is more engaging than the jokes There's the plotwhole of the old man never reversing his age when he probably could, but aside from that, another solid episode. It's also worth mentioning how this episode set up the CHERUB as future enemies of the IMP wich is a plus. Looking forward to it.

Easily the most funny

The Imps vs the Cherubs is great, and was very funny too. Every sequence was perfect, and this is easily one of my favorites, if not my favorite.

Alright at best, boring at worst.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is to me the least interesting one of the bunch so far. Honestly my main problem stems from the joke of the episode is building up to, the fact that the members of C.H.E.R.U.B would break from their values and try and kill I.M.P. The only problem is that it's predictable, and there's nothing interesting done with the concept. It's basically the idea of "Look at this cute and friendly thing, wouldn't it be funny for them to not be cute and friendly.". Joke wise I also think it's on the weaker side, though the stock photo and Santa bit were some of the best laughs in the series. However, the rest just felt bland and not hilarious.

Plot wise it's also rather weak, some random guy with a short backstory blows his way into the office and hires them. Then we spend the rest of the episode following C.H.E.R.U.B as they try and convince the guy who hired I.M.P, who is his old business partner to not off himself. Again by the episode he's accidentally killed by C.H.E.R.U.B, which you can see from a mile off. Then C.H.E.R.U.B is not allowed to re-enter heaven.

To sum it up, it's OK, but during a rewatch I won't be looking forward to it. Honestly it felt like it had too little of a run time to tell the story they wanted to this month, but that's just me. And the introduction of C.H.E.R.U.B and what they ultimately do feels rather underwhelming.

Just a quick note, The Moxxie bashing in the episode is turning into Squidward from mid-SpongeBob levels of mean.

This was one of my favorites

Warning: Spoilers
Unlike the second episode, this was one of my favorites along with the sixth, now I think it is one of the weakest episodes of the first season

Without being bad and I even think it is still enjoyable, just like all the episodes of this season (except for episode 8 and if you want to count the pilot), it feels like another setback with the previous episode.

There are several jokes that work but others that simply don't and they are some of the worst in the series.

The cherubs are the typical episodic characters that without having seen the rest of the series you know are not going to be important at least for a while, even leaving an open subplot at the end of the episode they have not appeared in all this time and I doubt they will do it

Weak 6: Among the standard episodes, this is the weakest.

A well-paced, engaging action episode.
meieraedan14 March 2021
This episode is the most well-paced out of the season thus far. It does not have a focus on heart or emotion like Loo Loo Land, but that isn't the point of this episode. Its conflict is engaging to watch progress and the action is well-choreographed and animated. The comedy is also a cut above the standard. All in all, the most engaging episode so far, extremely well done.

Underrated episode
halfdangwa27 May 2023
Though it is a filler episode, i personally have enjoyed several rewatches of this episode. A lot of people call it a "filler mess" or a "boring episode that doesn't matter for the rest of the show", and though it may not, it is really a good episode. The jokes are funny, and it feels very much like an episode of a kids cartoon that has been "adultified". I think it deserves a lot more than it's 7,4 stars, because there has obviously been put a lot of work into the episode. Overall i don't really have any bad things to say about this episode, other than that it's an awesome episode in my opinion, honestly a lot better than the episode before this one.

The funniest episode
sebaweirdo21 May 2021
At this moment most people probably know that Vivzie is fan of the cult classic "Invader Zim"... and this episodes shows it!

CHERUB is easily one of the funniest, wackiest and darkest episodes of Helluva Boss, with a simple plot. IMP is sent to kill/convince an old inventor to kill himself while CHERUB is sent to protect him (and try to convince him to NOT kill himself) If this plot doesn't sound funny to you, then in that case, you will probably not like this episode, and it's understandable, specially after 2 episodes that expanded the lore and characters, this episode is just a funny and bloddy romp...but that's why it's easily my favorite episode. There is not a single joke that fails for me.

So, if you like cruel and blood stained comedy, then come and watch this episode, it's the most ridicolous and Looney Tunes-esque of the whole show. Don't miss it!

Love this. Its the best episode. I started the series because of this episode. Although...Couldnt the old guy go back in the machine and turn himself young again...plot hole...but still hilarious.

The worst episode so far, but not awful
JohnIRTMAN14 March 2021
In my opinion this episode is the worst one in the series so far, however that doesn't mean I think it was awful. I would honestly have it at a 7.5, but I can't, so I rounded up to an 8. I think that the balance between outrageous things and actually funny jokes was not that great, and the episode leaned more into crazy than comedy.

Another episode
heroryan10 April 2021
It was the worst episode so far however that doesn't make it bad. It's actually pretty good but it doesn't live up to the rest of them.
