I've absolutely adored watching the restoration of Angela and Dicks chateau but the "Make do and mend" series was brilliant!
I'm now going to have a go at refurbishing a lovely old chair, getting stuck into some painting, completing some pesky sewing projects, finishing my tea cosy project and hanging macrame plant holders.
The words from Angela ring in my ears "just have a go"! So a big thank you to you because I've finally come up with a cunning plan and fixed my wandering toilet seat of two years, with a length of steel rod and three small cable ties. Works like a dream! I've gradually changed that voice in my head that says "you can't do it", by watching both Dick and Angela overcome huge obstacles during their renovation, with a positive voice that says "yes, you can!"
