Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Beau's father is revealed to be a anthropomorphic phallic monster. It was created using a practical effect, but looks extremely CG in appearance.

Violence & Gore

  • A teen girl dies by suicide from drinking paint. You see her bloodshot-eyed corpse. It is shocking and distressing.
  • Jeeves bursts through a window and repeatedly shoots and stabs Beau's father, who is a penis monster. He eventually ends up being killed when one of the penis monster's sharp arms is brought down on his skull, stabbing into the top of his head. Graphic, we see injury detail.
  • There is a massacre that happens in the forest with bloody shootings, electrocution and explosions. Most of these are in the background, but the strongest instance included a man falling on his machine gun and shooting himself many times through the shoulder which then hits a person behind him who gets littered with bullets. Tons of blood is seen, but this is darkly comedic.
  • It's implied via phone call that Beau's mother got decapitated (her head was smashed by a falling chandelier). While not shown, the woman's headless body is shown in a coffin later in the film. Near the end it's revealed that this was all faked.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Beau is forced to smoke a joint with an unidentified substance with teenagers, which makes him disassociate/trip.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the final scene, Beau's boat gets stuck on the water and it's revealed that he is around a crowded arena where he's being trialed for all his wrong deeds towards his mother by her lawyer. Beau desperately pleads to his mother many times but all his pleas fall on deaf ears till his boat capsizes upside down, killing him and the film abruptly ends there. This scene is very disturbing.
