I think that Kazu is a little silly.
Anyway I'm having this perception that this anime will all built out of her deem about "being the perfect girlfriend even if it is rental". I think that is a little pushed too hard on it. But it's not so bad, let's say.
I really like that she is more clever and adult respect to him. At least she is not just a thing to rent, if you get what I mean.
