Astronauts Mac (Frank Aletter) and Hector (Jack Mullaney) are back in their space capsule successfully attempting to lift several feet off the ground. They feel are systems are go and begin loading the capsule when their solenoid transistor block blows open. Their only hope of taking off is to find a replacement and begin questioning the prehistoric peoples about copper. They learn that Boss' (Cliff Norton) necklace is made of copper and seek to swipe it after he refuses to trade for it. They're caught raiding his cave in the middle of the night and stand punishment with the cave people. When Boss learns that they weren't planning on taking over the village with the necklace, he tells them where they can find copper. It is a trap set for them, however, as the cave they're sent to is actually called Dinosaur Cave. Imogene Coca's Shad (changed from Shag in the first episode after it's period slang meaning) learns of the plan from Clon (Mike Mazurki) and sets out with her husband Gronk (Joe E. Ross) to save them.
