As the series reaches its conclusion both the group of survivors who met on the train and the mysterious group who took Hild and Anita are converging on ARC; the government centre where the chosen few were to be frozen after the impact. They get there at the same time and after a shoot out most of the survivors get into ARC; two however are trapped outside. The outside group are determined to get inside as the believe Hild's baby will not survive unless it is born inside ARC. In order to persuade those inside to let them in they proceed to nail the two survivors trapped outside to crosses and crucify them! Those inside aren't feeling too good either; there doesn't appear to be anybody else inside at first and Roe is convinced that Colin has caused Mick's death.
This was a fine conclusion to the series; it nicely wrapped up the mystery about the other group and reunites Harriet and Jonathon Geddes. There are one or two shocking scene including the crucifixion and a scene where one of they attackers is violently stabbed through the neck. The acting was solid, a particular stand-out in this episode being James Hazeldine who looked as if he really was suffering when his character was hanging on a cross. There was a degree of openness to the ending; although they have found ARC and come to terms with the other group there is no suggestion as to what they will do next; that is left to the viewer's imagination.
