- A man leaves the building and sets it on fire, however the two people inside escape.

- A woman forces a man at gunpoint to leave his computer can get into a locker.
- A man watches a DVD of a young woman getting raped. Much of it is offscreen but we get one particularly disturbing image.
- A man is doused in gas by a teen girl and is lit on fire.
- A woman is punched to the ground by a man; she tases him in the crotch, but no effect. She is then knocked out.

- Lisbeth fights and tries to kill a man who, as it turns out, is her own abusive father, whom she assumed was dead. But she is also beaten to a bloody pulp.
- Another man is literally invulnerable to pain because of a strange genetic condition; therefore nothing that anyone can do to him will disturb him and he can inflict tortuous pain on others with no fear.
