In the previous episode Jandra fell through the hole into the abandoned factory and it looked like she might have died; as we soon discover she survived but is badly hurt. Ian lowers himself down to see how badly hurt she is and soon he is joined by the others when it starts to rain. Leo, who ran off, has taken shelter in an old car where he meets Hild again when the rains stop. Meanwhile the group in the factory find themselves trapped after their hoist collapses, luckily Leo and Hild return and manage to rescue them. They continue their journey north until they reach the flooded River Tees; it looks like their path is blocked but Hild knows a nearby place where they might finds help, although she refuses to go there herself. The place is an old holiday camp where they see a boat belonging to another group of people, a group that appears to be armed. Rather than try to talk to these people they decide it is safer just to steal the boat; this leads to a confrontation where one of that group is killed; if they weren't enemies before they certainly are now.
This was another good episode; I was surprised to discover that Jandra had survived her fall and was equally surprised that none of the group died in the confrontation with the others this is the third episode I was convinced that Colin would die but he continues to survive! The enigmatic Hild is growing to be the most interesting character despite saying little and giving few hints about her past or her relationship with the other group; Caroline Carver did well in the role.
