Vulgar, but fun countdown show
ninjaalexs18 January 2020
This appeared on TV over Christmas. It's basically a spoof of Gogglebox with Spice Girls' Mel B and Leigh Francis (best known for Keith Lemon these days) revising his Bo Selecta character of Mel B counting down their top 50 TV moments.

What we have are some obvious choices like Killing Eve, British Bake off and Game of Thrones. Some uninspired choices like Greta Thunberg's climate change speech with Leigh Francis as Mel B saying "she should be Prime Minister" Yawn. Some cheap humour from 100 Vaginas and Sex Clinic. That said there was quite a lot I hadn't seen or didn't know about.

As is typical with Leigh Francis the humour is undoubtedly crude, rude and borderline offensive in places. That said it is also hilarious in places with more than a few laugh out loud moment. It serves to show how much I missed Bo Selecta and the inventive comedies of the early 00s that I would rather pick over the current crop of "comedy dramas" that are both low on drama and laughs.

While this isn't essential viewing and it outstays its 55 minute running time, it is well worth seeing for Leigh Francis and those that like their humour vulgar.
