The story continues to be intriguing.

This was another solid episode. The characters are engaging and the mystery makes you want to continue watching. There's a nice dynamic between Jared, Wade and Maggie and the actors have good chemistry with each other.

I also appreciate how the writers aren't shying away from discussing the problems that Indigenous people are dealing with in Canada. This is very important to see on our TV's in the context of "entertainment".

Even better than the first episode!

Warning: Spoilers
We're really getting into the swing of things with the second episode of Trickster! We even got background info as to what was going on in the very first scene from the pilot.

This episode felt a little more established than the first. From the first shot to the last, I was completely entranced in Jared's world. The humor was honestly laugh out loud funny, ie: Jared not so subtly flicking off Richie as he rubs his face, or how Phil mentioned Wade not being around for almost 20 years, and Wade grinned "almost", alluding to what we soon discover to be a subtle jab at the fact he is Jared's real biological father, not Phil, meaning he hasn't been to town since closer to exactly 17 years, which is when Jared was born. The beautiful cinematography did not take any breaks for this episode either, it was genuinely breathtaking. Also curious about some of the song choices for background music, hoping to discover it might be Indigenous artists so I'll have to find out if that is the case.
