In honor of his deceased daughter Arianna, the shipyard owner Armando undertakes a sailing trip with his guests. A year later, the ship is found off the coast of South America. Only half of the travel group survived.

The six survivors of the shipwreck do not want to talk about their experiences. When questioned they claim that the six victims died in the storm. The police officer Anita notices that all the statements are almost identical.

Anita does not believe the survivors are telling the truth. But her supervisor does not want any further investigations. So Anita investigates on her own. Alex was rescued at sea and, since no other ship was missing at the time.

Luca wants to go back to work at the shipyard. Tano hides in the room of his dead son Simone. Meanwhile, Nino returns to school. He joins a class with Luca's daughter Maia. Since the death of his parents, Nino lives with his aunt Titti.

Luca has found out that his wife Sylvie had an affair with his best friend Stefano during Arianna's disappearance. But the two want to give their marriage another chance. Traces of blood are found below deck on the wrecked ship.

All survivors are to give DNA samples to the police after traces of blood are discovered. The suspended Anita is informed by Ivan about the state of the investigation. According to the report, the blood on the Arianna came from Lorenzo.

Graffiti with the word "murderer" has appeared around the survivors' apartments. The excitement among Luca and the others is great. Ivan continues to provide Anita with information.

Anita breaks into Armando's villa and finds a book with a dedication to Léa. The date contradicts the survivors' accounts.

After learning from Luca the supposed truth about Armando's death, Anitadas seeks conversation with Adèle - who is their twin sister Léa, believed dead. Luca and Sylvie's marriage threatens to fail because Marta is expecting his child.

Luca wants to go with Sylvie to her parents to escape the threat of an unknown man. The police want to question the alleged Adele. Tano is found dead after finding clues on his deceased son's cell phone.

Tano was beaten to death. But the others all have alibis. Anita investigates further. She searches Emanuele's apartment and finds him dead.

At the second residence of the Mayer family, Anita finds clues that lead to the clarification of the series of violence against the survivors. Luca's marriage is at an end. Anita believes that her son Gabriele may still be alive.
