As “The Simpsons” prepares to launch its Season 36 this fall on Fox, that won’t be the only place to catch new episodes of the long-running animated series. The executive producers behind “The Simpsons” revealed on Saturday at the D23 convention in Anaheim that four new episodes will exclusively air this upcoming season on Disney+.
The new episodes include a new Christmas-themed two-parter, “O Come All Ye Faithful,” premiering on Dec. 17 — timed to the 35th anniversary of the very first “Simpsons” episode, the similarly holiday-themed “Simpsons Roasting Over An Open Fire” in 1989.
The other two episodes, titled “The Past and the Furious” and “Yellow Planet” will also air in the “months ahead,” Disney+ said. And in October, a new exclusive “The Simpsons” short that is Halloween-themed will also premiere on Disney+.

This episode of the Horror TV Shows We Miss video series was Written and Narrated by Niki Minter, Edited by Lance Vlcek, Produced by John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
Horror for Christmas? Yes, I’m here to holly your jolly, deck your halls, and sacrifice your children to Krampus. What a merry holiday season indeed! Since our October vid focused on Halloween Specials, I figured the Spooky Christmas crossovers deserved some attention as well.
As a kid, my family did have Christmas watching traditions like most. We did Scrooged, A Christmas Story, Frosty, Charlie Brown, Garfield, Home Alone, Gremlins (Ahhhh it’s controversial), Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands…and my mom may have snuck in Black Christmas. She was and is a fan of Holiday-based Horror. Her favorite being My Bloody Valentine. All of this is totally normal. So, as you can probably guess, the tradition has continued.

Last month, Texas Congressman Joaquin Castro put out a call to the public, asking people to send ideas for music by Latin artists to submit to the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry. It’s part of a years-long effort on Castro’s part to get more Latin art preserved within the Library of Congress and to increase Latino representation across media and pop culture.
The National Recording Registry is made up of works considered “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” or that “inform or reflect life in the United States.

There's just something about the Christmas holiday season that gives many of us a dopamine kick that has us feeling warm and fuzzy inside, and there's research to back it up. It's for this reason that Christmas movies tend to be so popular this time of year - even the corniest ones seem worth watching. But until recently, it was hard to find Christmas movies that resembled what Christmas looks like for Latinx families. While we could enjoy rewatching films like "A Christmas Story" or "It's a Wonderful Life," it would certainly be nice to see a film that at least acknowledges how Latinxs in the States celebrate the holiday and how the major emphasis for us is actually on Noche Buena (Christmas Eve), not Christmas Day. After all, we do make up 19 percent of the US population, according to a 2021 study from the Pew Research Center. Director Gabriela Tagliavini...

The latest actor to portray KFC founder Colonel Sanders is none other than Mario Lopez. But rather than a commercial, Lopez will star in a Lifetime movie called “A Recipe For Seduction” that mixes the Colonel’s secret herbs and spices with romance.
And yes, “A Recipe For Seduction” is a definitely real movie that exists, and there’s even a trailer to prove it. The 15-minute bite-sized film will debut on Lifetime on Sunday, December 13 at 12 p.m. Et/Pt.
Lopez plays Colonel Harland Sanders in the film, who has a steamy (and savory?) love affair with a young heiress who must choose between her young chef with a dream of fried chicken glory and a wealthy, duplicitous suitor handpicked by her mother.

Melissa Joan Hart and HartBreak production have done it again.
Feliz NaviDAD was another pleasing film that was just as much about family as it was about its two leads finding love with one another.
In many ways, those make the best Christmas movies, and Feliz NaviDAD was certainly one of the cutest.
Lifetime is on a roll; their Christmas films are maintaining the hopeful, fuzzy, and sweet flair to them while also losing some of the cheese.
While it's nothing wrong with the cheesy factor, and it's what makes most Christmas flicks endearing in the first place, they've struck a nice balance these days by grounding them, making them feel more relatable and real.
It's working out for them.
