Berge Garabedian is best known for being one of the pioneers in the online entertainment space by founding the JoBlo Movie Network in his parents' garage back in 1998. He was born in Amsterdam (Holland), raised in Canada by Armenian parents on American TV and movies. He completed his MBA in marketing at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and by the year 2002, got his first book published entitled "JoBlo. presents... The 50 Coolest Movies of All-Time!"
By 2010, he made an appearance as himself in "The People vs George Lucas" The People vs. George Lucas (2010) documentary and also expanded JoBlo's online presence to YouTube, where its channels were one of the first to distribute movie trailers to the masses. By 2016, the JoBlo Originals channel was formed which created thousands of movie-related mini-documentaries/essays from the 1980s to today's popcorn fare. Two of its most well-received series are "Roomies" Cage & Goldblum: Roomies (2015) and "80's Horror Memories" 80's Horror Memories (2023).
He also formed JoBlo Movie Productions which went on to executive produce several films including John Fallon's "The Shelter" The Shelter (2015) as well as the documentaries "1982: Greatest Geek Year Ever" 1982: Greatest Geek Year Ever! (2022) and "Arcade Dreams" Arcade Dreams which focuses on the history of arcade games and pinball machines, a new passion Berge uncovered later on in life.
