As for a Marvel show that said it would start out episodical and slowly create a centralized plot, I initially feared that this would end up being the next She-Hulk.
Fortunately, this wasn't the case. I was pleasantly surprised upon watching this. It was very similar in style to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which I enjoyed. I also found that the themes that were covered in just the first episode were very mature for what Disney markets as a kid's show, covering topics such as bankruptcy and peer pressure, while also staying relevant to the modern day, and not embarrassingly outdated.
Overall it's a great first episode that covers multiple aspects of modern culture, and does it well, while still being quite entertaining as an action show.
