This series is a must see for lovers of fantasy and office romance . Some scenes are so hilarious I've rewatched them already, although the story is so silly it seems written with lots of liquor aside.
Plot
One evening an alien and his secretary get stuck on planet Earth, they transform into the earthy shape of a girl and a turtle, also rescuing a man after a car crash. Their device that beams them up to their planet gets lost in the proces, and the search for this device begins leading them to a lot of encounters with other humans. If you think this story is pretty standard, take that: whenever this alien girl smells men's hormones she loses control, wanting to sniff and fondle their bodies all over the place, which brings her to a show with pretty men in a night club. There she befriends the performing artist who turns out to be the younger brother of the unknown man she rescued. This car crash victim seems totally recovered, a rich and famous CEO from a perfume company who's involved in a power struggle. He's a handsome cold man who turns warm whenever the alien girl touches his chest. Could it be his heart or something else? Moreover this CEO has amnesia caused by some trauma in his past that lets him forget all his girlfriends as soon as it rains outside. Last but not least he has an intended who is as cold blooded as he is, but somehow obsessed with marrying him. What follows is a chain of events leading to office drama and a love square, between the alien girl, the CEO, his brother and the fiancée. Will they all get what they wanted in the end?
The Good
Thanks to the alien theme this story seems more playful and fresh than the usual Chinese romcoms. Agreed, this show has the common characteristics of an office romcom, the arrogant CEO, his antagonistic family, a psychic trauma, and a bubbly girl who turns his world upside down...but the difference is this alien girl acts way more sexy and bold regarding the man she feels attracted to. It's funny to let pheromones play a crucial part in the encounter with a extra-territorial being, especially the pheromones of a CEO from a perfume company. I also love the conflicted feelings of this cold CEO who tries to keep up appearances but longs to be touched as well. Actors Wan Peng and Hsu Thassapak are made for this romcom, funny and sexy, although their kisses were a bit lackluster with their lips stuck together in pause mode. The other actors are also good, especially Alina Zhang, known from her role as the Fire Princess in Ice Fantasy.
The Bad
The problem with this show, and Chinese series in general, is the lack of a sound plot. My guess this is due to the strict maintaining of marketing formulas, and drama censure. Chinese writers are forced to copy-paste certain elements that were successful before with other audiences, and able to pass censure. This causes a whirlwind of funny scenes, pasted together, but it fails to deliver a sound closure, leaving many loopholes and questions unanswered. But...
Verdict
...if you leave your brain on the shelve, don't mind an unclear story or statement about men/women roles in society, you will love this series. The actors are adorable, they are plenty of funny scenes and Hsu Thassapak is a good singer.

I just loved this show and probably will be soon watching it again ! The star cast did an amazing job specially the lead actors . However the plot becomes a little annoying in the middle , specially when the ml forgets fl , that's dragged too long ... but overall its definitely wortha watch and hilarious.. go for it !

Hi !m Priti from odisha,India ...It was my first Chinese movie that I watched ...in 2days I watched all most all 28episodes of it.... really,it's something that I can't explain ...something that attracted me /drove me crazy to watch it continuously for 2days even if I had my exams ahead....amazing lead role actor and actress..they had justified their role... especially Bie thassapak !....I want to say uh that U r dam hot and dam cool man....I have seen many luv story drama ..but never seen such a drama where boy being rejected for more than 10episodes by a silly girl still tried to b her &girl who didn't belong to this planet still fall in luv wid a human & drove herself away not to hurt him ... seriously ,this is a true and pure pic of a Selfless luv .....I never thought a drama like this can b framed and these actors and actresses can do such a tremendous job ....hats off to the director and producer..most importantly ,ending goes well...nothing extra drama wasn't there...best ending of season -1....bcz I m hoping for season-2 which uh people ll definitely gonna make.....thnx😘 and kids of luv people....once I would definitely meet Bie thassapak...luv uh

Show is very mesmerizing and i think there should be season 2 of this amazing fantasy show.
Lots of love to the show and lead pairs.
Edit :- I am 4 episodes down in S2 and I could not expect more from this season.
This season hits different because Fang Lang is calmer and cooler than previous one.
I am in love with this change of his character.
In this season, he smiles a lot ( preety good smile )
And our Xioxi is charming, loving and funny as always.
All in all, I dont think one should wait for one month for the series to be completed. You must go now and watch it.

Am from india , chennai... My hobbies are watching dramas at stressed situation most recently i watched My girlfriend is alian... I really loved it and enjoyed it . It makes me to relif my stress and am crazy about characters in thise drama... Please i request to director and actors to creat another season of my girlfriend is alian... Only thing that is enjoyable in this series is that alien girl character. Even that girl becomes irritating too. If you wanna watch how she is just watch some clips on YouTube.

This is actually the most adorable series I've ever watched until now
Xiouqi is so adorably cute, and has really a neighbour next door face while fang leng is cold and heartless person who has exceptional love towards hid half-brother
The story is quite sweet and arising love between the two leads is so beautifully put. In some scenes, they tend to make us laugh and put a smile on our faces. As the climax approaches, the scenes often make our hearts feel so weighted, that they make us emotional
But the final scene is worth of all the lagging in between the scenes in story. Do watch it, for a nice adorable cuddly love scenes

Randomly came across the poster of MGIAA on insta & the fantasy rom-com idea attraced me to watch my FIRST EVER Chinese & first web drama..
& sooo glad I did.. Currently hooked & have been recommending my frnds to watch it too..
Xio Qi is a cute & naughty Alien & her hillarious antics made me take an instant liking towards her. But slowly FANG LENG grew on me & both the actors, Wan Peng & Bie Kpn have earned a fan in me.. I literally loved the story, laughed with them, been angry, felt cringed, been heartbroken, cried.. Everything kept me entertained throughout. Wish there could be a season 2 exploring thr life after marriage..

This is my 1st ever series,not interested in series's before i Watching this but this series literally made me addicted to Chinese dramas... it's a perfect blend of emotions, actors just lived in their roles
Fang leng-Chai Xiaoqi-Fang lei this iconic trio made this series literal classic

At first I thought to just give it a try as it's a fictional drama , but when i started watching it I was completely into it, and after completing it I was afraid to watch any other drama because I thought what if I won't get the good story and the characters in any other drama coz this drama gave me the explanation of true love, even though it's a fictional one ( It's The perfect love story in my opinion) and this girl was pure, cute and totally innocent and the male lead was awesome he has done his job very well and I'm in love with him, like he got one more fan .. 💖💖

She is an alien who has blue blood and there is no legal identify (but noone knows, she even has a job in a big company, I wonder how????), but she is so hard to prove that "I'm an alien". This movie so ridiculus and waste time to watch.

This is my first Chinese movie/tv series i have watched so far. After i watched the whole series, i downloaded the song soundtrack even the song Of Course Love sang by Thassapak Hsu.
The best romantic comedy drama i have watched.....it cling into my mind....hopefully for a part 2 of this Fang Leng-Xiaoqi tandem. Really really love this.

The drama had a very strong start and a very weak ending.
The plot of the drama is actually very entertaining and fun. I love how each character is so different and even though the story is unbelievable and crazy it's very interesting to watch.
But I'm not sure why the writers left too many cool plots abandoned halfway and they gave weak endings to almost all of them, that made me loose interest at the end , which was a very predictable finish although was obviously sweet.
Nice drama overall and good chemistry between the leads.

Just love this drama. Such a beautiful and cute love story. It teaches the meaning of true love, if you wait for your true love it will come to you by its own and this love will make you a better person. I never wanted this series to be finished. I wish it would be a true story and I would have lived in it. Both fang leng and chai xiaoqi are the cutest couple together. Lots of love to Ms. Wan Peng and Mr. Hsu Thassapak. Thanks to the director for making such a beautiful love story. We will be pledged if you can come with part 2 of the series with same actor and actoress.
