TRINITY'S TRIUMPH is refreshingly realistic
Craigsaavedra5 May 2024
TRINITY'S TRIUMPH offers a refreshingly realistic portrayal of three young seminarians' journey towards the Catholic priesthood. Led by the compelling performances of Joe Morton and Joshua Wills, the film delves into the complexities of faith, doubt, and personal growth. Father Stephen Fichter's and Kathe Carson's solid screenplay lends authenticity to the narrative, capturing the challenges and triumphs of the characters with honesty and humor. Michael Wickham's capable direction, while breaking no new ground, coupled with Jeff Holman s beautiful cinematography provide the film a sweep and scope that belies its indie budget and allows the story to shine in its exploration of important themes and issues.

While family-friendly and a rare film that celebrates the positive aspects of religion and Catholicism, TRINITY'S TRIUMPH doesn't pander or shy away from controversy but rather it succeeds by confronting and navigating the complexities of triumph over adversity with grace. While it tugs at heartstrings, it also celebrates the indomitable power of hope.
