A very good episode, one of the best in a long time, storylines are completed and the end for a villain.
Before Quentin is executed, Angelique bursts in with the head of Judah Zachery. She says she found it in Dawson's house. She confesses she killed him in self defense. Desmond grabs a gun from a guard and shoots Gerard. As Gerard dies, the head turns to a skull. Gerard is free of the possession and before he dies, Quentin forgives him. Angelique is taken away for questioning. Quentin and Desmond are released.
Quentin and Daphne has a joyous reunion.
Barnabas sees Parallel Time, Catherine is there and a man looking like Barnabas enters. He is Bramwell Collins, a former lover of Catherine who has returned after 5 years. Catherine tells him she is marrying Morgan, he is angry. We find out Bramwell is the son of Barnabas and now is the poor relation.
Quentin finds out that he really is Tad's father, he and Daphne leave to get married.
