The episode starts with Nora offering to mend Compo's trousers. meanwhile Howard brings home a double bass. He wants to make sweet harmony, presumably with Marina. Not sure why he would need a double bass for that. Meanwhile Ivy is not only scaring the regulars but also new visitors to the cafe who are scared stiff of her.
The trio realise they need to keep fit but find out they are badly out of shape as they jog to the pub. Compo does not even have a track suit, he is wearing his long johns.
At the pub Foggy gets the idea of entering a local Barrel Rolling Contest and gets Wesley to prepare something. When they test it out it is a bumpy ride so they decided it to soften the blow by wearing rubber rings before going inside the barrel and just managed to avoid Howard having music practice with Marina.
It has to be said that the sight of the three of them rolling downhill was daft but funny. The best bit was the three of them wandering around inside barrels down the street and coming across Eli who recognises them all.
