must see movie

i was in this movie as a kid waiting in line for Santa and i can tell you everyone cast and crew was very nice. once it was over i got to go watch the movie and even though i was in it the people i went to see it with and i both thought it was the best movie in its category in Canada shorts. it is very funny and is great for all ages. i demand you must go see this movie is is hilarious and has great humor ,great plot, ideas and cast. it is a must see for the whole family. most independent shorts have a horrible score but for Santa Baby I beg to differ it is wonderful upbeat and very effective. the scenes are wonderful and full of color. i hope you really enjoy my comment and comes to use and again you must go see it, it is a must see for the whole family.

Must See

Santa Baby is what good films are all about. It doesn't need to be flashy and send you to remote locations to hold your interest. It's through good story telling with a couple twists that makes you want to see more and how the story will end. The writer, director, and actors put forth a film that at some level everyone can relate too. I saw this film as part of film festival of short films and this was by far the best. Santa Baby is hilariously funny, nostalgic, but also unpredictable. I can't wait to see more from David Widdicombe. This is the kind of film that should get a writer, director, of actor a real shot at becoming someone in the film industry.

A Deliciously Dark Christmas Treat

David Widdicombe's Santa Baby is a delicious black comedy with a very large heart. What makes it particularly special, to my thinking, is that Widdicombe and his extraordinary two leads dance a comic tango on a tightrope between the adult world and the world of the child. It is dangerous and disturbingly familiar (who hasn't had some sort of obsessive crush at one point or another?)and very very FUNNY at the same time. The music is terrific, the cinematography rich and playful, the script inventive and twisted. The thing, too, is that something about the film is contagious--As I watched it I found myself falling madly in love with both main characters....
