''it was quite a party last night, wasn't it?''

Warning: Spoilers
Everyone in the house is hungover following a very raucous party the night before. Rick awakes to find an attractive female asleep in his bed. He claims to have had sex with her but as it turns out she had merely fallen asleep beside him as they were both drunk, a fact which Vyvyan rubs in Rick's face. However, it turns out that this woman, whose name is Helen, is a psychotic murderer who is on the run from the police.

In the midst of all this, the lads soon find themselves stuck in some kind of mysterious time warp when a group of angry medevil barbarians burst their way through the house...

'Time' is not the best 'Young Ones' episode by a long chalk, the reason for which I cant really put my finger on. Again, a different set of opening titles were made up. Here, we have a 'Dallas' style opening sequence featuring the guys as characters in said soap opera. One of the credits reads: 'Vitriol Consultant - Miss Nina Cow'. This was a blatant dig at infamous television critic 'Nasty Nina Myskow'.

Jennifer Saunders plays Helen the murderess. Also seen in supporting roles are Gareth Hale, Norman Pace and Paul Merton. One of the plus sides of the episode is the presence of Helen Lederer, looking lovely in a medevil maiden costume.

Funniest bit - Vyvyan taunting Rick about his virginity. ''If I am a virgin, how come I know what a girls bottom looks like?''. ''From looking in the mirror!'' replies Vyv.
