Warning: Spoilers
When five bodies turn up at the morgue Tru not only has to find out who the victims are but also race to prevent a multiple homicide. Adding to the stress Meredith, her sister is fired after failing a random drug test at work.

The original setting for the series was three attractive young people coping with life after their mother was brutally murdered. The son is addicted to gambling and cannot settle down, the oldest daughter is an over-achiever, while Tru is the good girl trying to save everyone. Obviously it didn't work because eventually the family is dropped in exchange for Jason Priestley's character who soon appears.

In this episode it turns out that a bucks night is the scene for a murder to keep quiet events that occurred many years previously. The victims agreed to their silence until one is overcome with a guilty conscience.

Naturally Tru saves the day. However, it does not appear that she can save everybody. Eventually we see the wisdom in the writers' choice.
