Full of Action Episode

Teal´c and Bra´tac return from the encounter with the resistance and Teal´c is upset with Rya´c that wants to get merried. Soon Ishta comes to the SGC to ask for asylum for her people to protect them from Moloc and Jack invites them to come to the SGC. Ishta returns to her world and after an attack of Moloc, only Ishta, Teal´c and the Jaffa Aron survive. When Ishta is captured by Moloc, Teal´c plans to rescue her. Will he succeed?

"Sacrifices" is a full of action episode of "Stargate SG-1". However the unoriginal story is only reasonable and predictable. My vote is seven.

Not What It Seems At First

Warning: Spoilers
Kind of a bait and switch making you think it's going to be a boring episode only about the wedding, but then suddenly a Goa'uld shows up to crash a meeting of rebel leaders leaving Teal'c to be the only one to save the day in an epic fight scene.

Forced

A forced connection with a new character that lacked depth and therefore the storyline lacked any emotional connection. The effects and acting were fairly decent.

Warning: Spoilers
The Amazons, er female Jaffa, are back. This time Rya'c is marrying one of them, Ishta (the leader) is ready to overthrow her false god Goa'uld, and Teal'c is generally unhappy with everything.

There's some good action in the end. A Goa'uld learns the meaning of a laser dot. He can't brush it away. Teal'c does some nifty work with two staff weapons tied together.

But the messages of women's equality and children growing into adults are lame.

Guess what? Ba'al takes over from the opposed Goa'uld, just as Teal'c predicted.

The actor who portrays Rya'c looks decidedly un-warrior-like. He looks like a book worm. There's a scene in which he works out with a staff. He can barely hold the staff. But I guess they had to keep going with the same actor.

The best part of the episode is a ping pong match between Teal'c and O'Neill.
