Mixed emotions

Warning: Spoilers
I admit DanieI had begun getting on my nerves and his "ascension" seemed both forced and ridicuIous.. but thats just me..

But. I did not expect to Iike Jonas Quinn as much as I did and was quite sad at his departure..I hope he returns in future episodes..

But the original SG1 is back together again so I guess that is a good thing.. we will see..

Leave of Jonas Quinn
arjan-smit10 April 2021
When Jonas finally takes his leave from SG-1, he does it exactly like Frodo did in the final stage of Return of the King.

One slight mistake: when Anubis used the mind probe on Jonas, he would undoubtedly have discovered everything Jonas knew about the Lost City.

Goodbye Jonas ...you will be missed.

Warning: Spoilers
I liked Jonas Quinn. I thought he was a great fit and did a great job. And just as we all were getting used to the new SG-1 member... they take him away from us. Bummer. Don't get me wrong I like Daniel Jackson and Michael Shanks who plays him but I though that door was shut and I was getting attached to Jonas. Only to get him yanked out a year later. Double bummer. I guess there wasn't enough room for both men. Triple bummer.

As for the story itself, this is one heck of a good episode though. Anubis is still a pain in the you know what. And Bal comes in to scare Anubis off from Jonas's home planet and the very last minute. Pretty good suspenseful episode. And I thought the way Jonas exited from the show was good. Going back to help his planet rebuild was a good exit for him. I thought it was respectful for Jonas and Corin Nemec, the actor who plays him.

I'm sorry to see Jonas go but I'm grateful we had the one season with him. He was great and he will always be a part of the history of Stargate SG-1. Thank you Corin Nemec.

One of the Good Episodes
fcabanski12 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was one of the good ones. It's not treading water, a silly character study, or a low budget treading water episode. It's the central Goa'uld story with action, skulking around a mother ship, rescues, and big special effects.

While there are some oddities - Daniel and Jonas need a ring platform to ring to, but we've seen people ring to areas without ring platforms there - those become minor in the face of SG-1 being SG-1 at its best.

You can't beat a Goa'uld riding in like the cavalry to save the day.

As a bonus, Jonas makes his exit. While the character was decent, he was no Daniel Jackson. SG-1 = Jack, Sam, Daniel and Te'alc. Synchronizing swatches wasn't a good fit for SG-1.

Sorry to see Jonas go
AvidWatcher10117 March 2022
Rewatching the series after some years have passed and still my one issue was seeing Corin Nemec leave, I suppose to make room for Michael Shanks who decided to come back. I was never a big fan of the Daniel Jackson character, and by comparison Jonas seemed so calm and natural. It never felt like he was "acting". I thought he would go on to bigger things. He has definitely been steadily working ever since, and I noticed he's doing some of his own projects. Good for him, but what a loss for SG1.

That didn't last long

Warning: Spoilers
It didn't take long for them to give Jonas the boot after bringing back Daniel, a little transition would have been fun to see. Decent storyline though of course the villain escaped.

The Conclusion of Fallen
claudio_carvalho6 October 2017
Col. O'Neill and Samantha destroy Anubis' weapon but he flees to the hyperspace with Jonas and Daniel. Anubis probes Jonas' mind and learns that there is a great quantity of Naquadria in his planet. He heads to Kelowna and attacks the city. Their leaders contact the Stargate Command and Jack and Sam travels to meet them. Meanwhile Daniel tries to rescue Jonas from his cell while Teal'c tries to convince Oshu that his Lord is insane and they need a new leader to defeat Anubis.

"Homecoming' is the full of action conclusion of "Fallen". The episode is not bad, but the problem is the story that is tiresome and the jokes of Jack O'Neill that are repetitive and unfunny. The return of Daniel Jackson is also terrible. My vote is six.

Title (Brazil): "Homecoming"
