The Goa'uld System Lords
claudio_carvalho24 November 2015
Sam is promoted to major and during Jack's speech, a beam transports him to a spacecraft where he meets Thor. He explains to Jack that the earthlings have called the attention of the Goa'uld System Lords after defeating Hathor and now they intent to attack Earth. However Asgard had proposed to include Earth in the Protected Planets Treaty and three Goa'uld System Lords will come to Earth to negotiate. In principle, they may accept the deal provide the two Stargates are returned to them. Thor also advises that Jack must be the negotiator of the planet. When the trio arrives, they prove to be intolerable beings and almost impossible to deal with. Teal'c and Cronos have a friction and out of the blue, they are found unconscious. When Teal'c awakes, he tells that he has not fought with the lord. Who might have attacked them? Will Jack succeed in his negotiation?

"Fair Game" introduces three Goa'uld System Lords (Cronus, Yu the Great and Nirrti) and the return of Asgard Thor. The plot is funny and Jack acting as the representative of the human race is hilarious. My vote is seven.

Bureaucratic
Calicodreamin30 January 2022
This episode focuses on developing the knowledge of the system lords and their place in the universe. Though well made and high production value, most of the dialogue is bureaucratic and vague concepts.

Ever played poker?

What a great episode. This is a lesson in keeping one's cards close to the vest, and playing a potentially winning hand like you've got the nuts.

I never give away the ending in these, but I will say that you have to watch this episode until... well... the last card is dealt and all players make their final bets.

What's the old saying? A peek is as good as a draw, and if the table thinks you have them beat, bet strong.

Richard Dean Anderson is a heckuva card player. The question is, will his bluff succeed in making his opponents fold so that he can sweep the HUGE stake pot?

10/10. Best episode yet in Season 3.

This is the episode I was waiting for from the start because of it's impact into the future of SG and this was put together. Worthy of the importance of the episode. Very satisfied. I rewinded during the episode many times, because of the awesomeness of the moment. One of my favorites for sure.
